Background: The Preceptorship model has different rules in clinical practice learning for health students at a midwifery clinic. The purpose of this literature review is to find out the perspective of the implementation of preceptorship from various groups of student education levels on midwifery care as a whole. Method: This article takes databases from PubMed, Wiley, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect published between 2010-2019 with the keywords "preceptorship", "perspective" and "student" in combination. The inclusion criteria in this article are primary research, articles between the years 2000-2019, in English and Indonesian. This article uses the PRISMA flow diagram framework. Results: Preceptorship can help preceptors to improve the effectiveness of their teaching and learning environment so that they can perform clinical skills to improve the quality of education. Appears tools or instruments used to evaluate Preceptorship. However, this evaluation is known to have not been standardized. Conclusion: The application of preceptorship in midwifery clinical practice varies. This is due to the absence of a standard preceptorship instrument.
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the cause of cervical cancer. However, the HPV prevention program has not been maximized. The impact of HPV infection is not only on women but also on men. The purpose of the literature review is to review HPV prevention programs and the impact of poor implementation of prevention. Literature review is carried out based on the suitability of the theme of the review and the article. Systematic literature search using database from PubMed. Then the prevention and impact of the HPV prevention program was analyzed using the keywords “Human papilovavirus”, “infection”, “impact” and “prevention” in combination with various other keywords. Of the 6 articles that met the inclusion criteria found, it was found that HPV prevention was carried out using vaccination and screening in women and men. However, there are obstacles in its implementation that can cause health impacts on women, men and fetuses.
Cases of infection during the puerperium are caused by infections that are localized in the birth canal and the most common cause, more than 50%, are anaerobic Streptococcus bacteria which are actually not pathogenic. Green betel leaves are known to have antiseptic and antibacterial properties. The research method is quasi-experimental, the population taken in this study was postpartum mothers who were in the village of Mojongapit, Jombang district, with a total of 24 respondents. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling. The inclusion criteria for sampling were as follows: postpartum mothers who experienced second and third degree perineal injuries with physiological delivery, mothers who were willing to become respondents. Analysis using the Mann - Whitney Test. The results showed that the healing time for perineal wounds in postpartum mothers who were given boiled green betel leaves was 4 - 6 days. The length of time for perineal wound healing in postpartum women who were not given boiled green betel leaves was 5-9 days. Differences in the duration of perineal wound healing in postpartum women who were given green betel leaf decoction was 0.4 times faster than postpartum women who were not given green betel leaf decoction
Background: Preceptorship is a time-limited, education-focused model for teaching and learning within a clinical environment that uses a clinical staff as role models. Its primary goal is to assist new staff and students in adapting to their roles, develop clinical skills and socialize the novice to a department or institution. This difference has caused various opinions from related parties. This study aimed to determine the implementation of a tutorial system from different levels of student education to the entire midwifery health care system. Subjects and Method: A scoping review method was conducted in eight stages including (1) Identification of study problems; (2) Determining priority problem and study question; (3) Determining framework; (4) Literature searching; (5) Article selection; (6) Critical appraisal; (7) Data extraction; and (8) Mapping. The search included PubMed, Wiley, Google Scholar, dan Sciendirect. The inclusion criteria were English-language and full-text articles published between 2000 and 2019. The data were selected by the PRISMA flow chart. Results: Ten articles from total of 803 articles found. It was divided into two categories: Elements in the preceptorship model and application of preceptorship. Preceptorship can help preceptors to improve teaching effectiveness and create an effective learning environment so that preceptors can perform clinical skills to improve the quality of education. The problem that arises in preceptorship in many student reports is the difficulty students experience in finding their clinical practice area. Professional organizations provide several solutions to the issues that occur in a preceptorship, one of which is paying attention to student attendance and facilitating students to give input and ideas. Conclusion: The application of the principles in the practice of midwifery clinics varies because the guideline instruments are not standardized.
