ABSTRACT:The golden trumpet tree Handroanthus chrysotrichus (Bignoniaceae) is an important species, owing to its economic, ecological, medicinal, and ornamental value. However, its production is hindered due to lack of seed availability and viability improved methods of vegetative propagation are needed. Therefore, we evaluated the effect of agar on in vitro rhizogenesis of H. chrysotrichus shoots and the subsequent ex vitro acclimatization of the plants obtained. In the in vitro rhizogenesis assay, we cultured the micropropagated shoots on half-strength nutritive Woody Plant Medium (½WPM) supplemented with 30 g . L -1 sucrose, 50 mg . L -1 myoinositol, 30 cm³ of vermiculite, and one of the three agar concentrations (0, 3.5, or 7 g . L -1 ), and after 30 d, we assessed the shoots for root production and leaf number. Thereafter, the plants were subjected to a 49-d ex vitro acclimatization period, which consisted of two stages in a growth room and one stage in a greenhouse; we assessed plant survival, leaf number and increases in stem height at the end of each stage. We found that the addition of agar to the growth medium was not necessary to induce adventitious rooting, especially with respect to secondary roots, and that plants grown on medium without agar had the highest number of leaves after acclimatization. Therefore, agar actually hindered both in vitro rhizogenesis and ex vitro acclimatization. The ex vitro acclimatization result in high survival and resumption of growth and development of H. chrysotrichus micropropagated plants, and this step is not affected by agar on in vitro rhizogenesis. AGAR NÃO AFETA A RIZOGÊNESE IN VITRO E A ACLIMATIZAÇÃO EX VITRO DE Handroanthus chrysotrichus RESUMO:Handroanthus chrysotrichus (Mart. ex DC.)
The objective of this study was to establish classification ranges for genetic and additive genetic coefficients of variation, as well as for broad and narrow sense heritability, as a function of growth and wood quality traits for Eucalyptus spp. We conducted statistical analyses to determine differences in this classification the types of coefficients used. The selected studies that met the inclusion criteria, 58 presented genetic variation coefficients (448 data points) and 53 presented heritability coefficients (423 data points). To descriptive statistics and the Shapiro-Wilk test, we confirmed that it was necessary to separate coefficients and traits into groups. Inconsistencies for growth traits were observed, confirming the influence of experimental error, indirect estimation methods, and environmental effects on coefficient estimates. We recommend the use of the classification tables included in this literature review to interpret results in studies so as to standardize the classification of coefficients of genetic variation and heritability.
AbstractThe objective of this work was analyze the productivity of the minicepas and the rooting of minicuttings from seminal origin of Luehea divaricata in seasons. The first test evaluated the productivity of the minijardim, in which the treatments consisted of eight minicuttings collections. In the second test were evaluated the collections in seasons, the period of cultivation in each season and its interaction. The productivity was higher in two collections in the summer and one in the spring, which resulted in more than five minicuttings by minicepa in each collection; the first collection in the summer and the first two in the spring presented lower averages, but all higher than the highest winter and autumn averages. For root formation, at 30 days, the mean was 95% and at 60 days at 100%. The highest number of roots was observed in the summer, with 11.47 roots by minicut. In relation to the length of roots, numer of secondary roots and leaves, there was more development in summer and spring, mainly at 60 days. The productivity of the minicepas is higher in the summer and this season also produces more developed seedlings of Luehea divaricata by minicutting technique. However, the minicutting technique, under the conditions evaluated, may continue throughout the year, with collections also in autumn, winter and spring. Minicutting technique is an efficient alternative for the propagation of the species, obt...
The school inclusion involves much more than the right to a place in an institution of regular education. It encompasses the right of the student to rely on various pedagogical alternatives, according to their specific characteristics to help in the teachinglearning process and become subject in the construction of knowledge. Thinking about the difficulties of visually impaired students being included in the regular school and as data gathered through research, it was found restricted access to literary wo rks to the visually impaired. Thus students of the Curso Técnico em Publicidade from the Instituto Estadual de Educação Visconde de Cairu, Santa Rosa, Rio Grande do Sul, formed a study group in order to find alternatives to fill this gap. Came the idea of developing talking books from the tales and children's stories and thus was born Audiobooks Project. Throughout the project, notes, fiel d diaries were being made and were being collected materials so that each step was documented. This study discusses the development process Audiobooks Project, from its initial conception to distribution of materials to schools in the area. It is expected to provid e support for similar projects that are produced or that new pedagogical alternatives are designed, benefiting all special students and contributing to the construction of knowledge and effective citizenship.
