Introdução: A sarcoidose é uma doença heterogênea de etiologia desconhecida cujas lesões características são granulomas não caseosos. O acometimento cardíaco pela sarcoidose ocorre em apenas uma pequena parcela dos pacientes que possuem sarcoidose sistêmica. A apresentação clínica da sarcoidose cardíaca (SC) varia desde uma condição descoberta incidentalmente até insuficiência cardíaca (IC), bradiarritmias, taquiarritmias e morte súbita. Apesar da escassez de dados, a terapia de imunossupressão tem sido preconizada para o tratamento da SC clinicamente manifesta. A terapia com dispositivos, principalmente com cardiodesfibriladores implantáveis, é frequentemente recomendada para pacientes com doença clinicamente manifesta. 2,7,8 Objetivos: O objetivo desse estudo é revisar sobre a sarcoidose cardíaca, compreendendo epidemiologia, fisiopatologia, manifestações clinicas, diagnóstico e tratamento. Métodos: Os bancos de dados Pubmed, Diretrizes e UpToDate foram pesquisados eletronicamente utilizando os descritores sarcoidose; sarcoidose cardíaca nos idiomas inglês e português. Discussão e Conclusão: trata-se de uma doença de manejo desafiador, os principais objetivos da terapêutica incluem a prevenção da progressão da doença e a consequente piora da disfunção ventricular esquerda, bloqueios atrioventriculares, arritmias e risco de morte súbita. Parte do tratamento preconizado tem alta probabilidade de efeitos adversos, os benefícios do tratamento são limitados e, ainda, muitos pacientes possuem o diagnóstico provável, e não definitivo, sendo que os médicos geralmente precisam decidir se devem ou não iniciar a terapia diante de um diagnóstico incerto.
Estudo epidemiológico que objetivou avaliar os óbitos fetais na macrorregião do sudeste de Minas Gerais, considerando peso fetal e idade gestacional, no período de 2017 a 2019. Elaborou-se o artigo tendo como base a análise de dados disponíveis no Sistema de Informação sobre Mortalidade (SIM), comparando os períodos de 2007 a 2019 e dos últimos dois anos disponíveis na base de dados, 2018 a 2019. Os dados foram relacionados a evolução das políticas públicas de assistência ao pré-natal. Observa-se que no primeiro período analisado houve um aumento nos casos de óbito, enquanto existiu uma diminuição dos óbitos fetais no segundo período analisado, além de um aumento significativo no número mulheres que alcançaram o terceiro semestre de gestação. Conclui-se, então, através desse estudo, que apesar da queda no número de óbitos fetais, os números são alarmantes e indicam a necessidade de uma maior investigação dos fatores relacionados a causa de óbitos fetais, a uma melhora da assistência à saúde materno-fetal, na implementação de políticas de saúde públicas que atenuem esses números.
