A crescente expansão da pecuária e da agricultura convencional na Microrregião Geográfica de Araguaína/TO acarretaram e continuam causando implicações e transformações significativas em sua paisagem natural. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a dinâmica da paisagem na Microrregião Geográfica de Araguaína, com ênfase na análise da cobertura vegetal e uso da terra, apontando subsídios para o planejamento e conservação ambiental. Para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa, aplicou-se as seguintes metodologias: revisão bibliográfica, elaboração de mapas na perspectiva espaço-temporal de cobertura vegetal e uso da terra da MRG de Araguaína, utilizando imagens cartográficas na escala de 1:100.000, obtidas no sítio do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) entre os meses de junho e setembro dos anos de 2009 e 2019 e trabalhos de campo. Os resultados mostram que os municípios pertencentes a MRG de Araguaína tem forte influência da agropecuária em sua economia, refletindo em impactos sobre a vegetação nativa. No período investigado [2009-2019] grandes áreas cobertas anteriormente por savanas e florestas foram atingidas, sendo convertidas em pastos para os rebanhos. Restando apenas 26,94% de vegetação neste território, o que implica a necessidade de planejamento e conservação destes ambientes naturais.
RESUMOO presente trabalho teve por objetivo a produção de painéis compostos por cimento e resíduos da indústria agrícola e florestal utilizando a casca de arroz, o bagaço de cana e resíduos de pinus em sua composição. Os mesmos, foram coletados em indústrias locais da região, no município de Gurupi-TO. Nos painéis foram avaliados densidade aparente, compressão axial, absorção e inchamento. Para a confecção dos corpos de prova os resíduos foram submetidos ao processo de moagem e determinados três tratamentos: T1-resíduo sem pré-tratamento; T2-resíduo imerso em água por duas horas; T3-resíduo imerso em hidróxido de cálcio por duas horas sem enxague. Conforme a NBR 5738, (2003) e ASTM D1037, (1995) adaptadas, foram confeccionados moldes cilíndricos e prismáticos para os ensaios de compressão axial absorção e inchamento respectivamente.Foi utilizado na confecção dos corpos de prova o cimento Portland do tipo II (CP II), água, os resíduos e dois aditivos adicionados à argamassa de cimento que após pronta, foi colocada em moldes e submetidos a compactação vibro mecânica. Após o tempo de cura, os corpos de prova foram submetidos aos ensaios. Os painéis de cimento e resíduo de pinus apresentaram os melhores valores médios para densidade aparente de 1,5 g/cm³, compressão axial de 21,05 MPa, absorção em 24 horas de 12,27% e inchamento com 1,25% em 24 horas, seguido dos painéis com resíduos de casca de arroz e de bagaço de cana respectivamente. Recomenda-se o uso dos painéis compostos por resíduos de pinus voltados a diversas finalidades na área da construção civil de acordo com sua resistência, e para os demais painéis o uso como revestimentos variados.
