In order to reduce maternal mortality in Central Java, this Province has a superior program which is called 5Ng (Jateng Gayeng Nginceng Wong Meteng/Central Java Glad to See Pregnant Women). Implementation of childbirth assistance in Semarang and Kendal districts in order to reduce maternal mortality has its own model. Based on the preliminary survey, the maternal mortality rate in Semarang and Kendal regencies has decreased. This research aimed to explain the implementation of delivery assistance by midwives in the framework of accelerating reduction in maternal mortality. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical specifications. Research subjects were midwives in Semarang and Kendal Regencies. Data collection method was conducted by direct in-depth interview. Normal childbirth assistance in Semarang Regency is carried out at the Midwife Independent Practice, Village midwife practice, at the village public health center and public health center with delivery assistance of at least four hands (two midwives). In Kendal Regency normal delivery assistance is performed at first health facility.
Undang – undang kebidanan N0. 4 Tahun 2019 menyebutkan beberapa kriteria bidan berdasarkan kualifikasinya diantaranya; bidan vokasi, bidan akademisi, dan bidan profesi. Adanya kriteria kualifikasi pendidikan bidan dalam UU Kebidanan tentunya mempengaruhi perubahan kewenangan ditiap kualifikasi. Penelitian yang berjudul “Persepsi bidan terhadap perubahan kewenangan dalam rancangan Undang – undang kebidanan” menyebutkan bahwa mayoritas bidan mempunyai persepsi baik terhadap perubahan kewenangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi bidan di Wilayah ranting III IBI Kota Semarang terhadap kualifikasi pendidikan Bidan dalam UU Kebidanan. Desain Penelitian adalah studi Deskriptif dengan eknik pengambilan sampel secara insidental pada saat pertemuan IBI di Wilayah ranting III sebanyak 32 bidan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan persepsi setuju terhadap perubahan kualifikasi pendidikan bidan vokasi (81.3%), tidak setuju (18.7%) dan persepsi setuju terhadap pendidikan bidan akademik (71.9%), tidak setuju (28.1%) dan persepsi setuju dengan kualifikasi pendidikan profesi bidan (15.6%) yang tidak (84.4%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Bidan di wilayah Ranting III IBI Semarang sebagian besar memiliki persepsi setuju terhadap perubahan kualifikasi pendidikan bidan vokasi dan pendidikan bidan akademik dan sebagian besar persepsi yang tidak setuju terkait dengan kualifikasi pendidikan profesi bidan Kata kunci : kebidanan;kualifikasi; pendidikan;undang–undang
Background: The "Sayang Bunda" application is an E-Health android application offered by the Semarang City Health Office which provides consultation services to pregnant women and postpartum mothers. E-Health is considered effective as a medium for consulting pregnant women in the city of Semarang. However, based on a preliminary survey to pregnant women, there are pregnant women who do not use and even do not know the application. The purpose of this study was to explore the obstacles in the implementation of the "Sayang Bunda" E-Health Application. Research Methods: This research is qualitative research where this research is basic and aims to obtain information and data related to the implementation of the "Sayang Bunda" E-Health application. Data collection techniques use interviews with the health center coordinator midwives and questionnaire with pregnant women and postpartum mothers. The subjects of this study are pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and the managers of community health centers. The study results show that pregnant women and postpartum mothers prefer WhatsApp groups to have consultation related to pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborns since it is easier to do. It is recommended to have policy integration in several parties so that the implementation of the "Sayang Bunda" E-Health can be carried out optimally.
In 2019 heahth program in Semarang tend to increase, The partnership between health workers and health cadres is important. The performance of health cadres in the community has essence that cannot be released with health service. Methods descriptive analytic with cross-sectional. Population all health cadres in the Gondoriyo region. samples 68 respondents. primary data obtained through direct interviews using a structured questionnaire.Analysis using uni variate analysis, frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Spearman Rank test. Result, good knowledge level (73,5%) ,good level cadre performance ( 73,5%) health cadre knowledge is not related to cadre performance (p value = 0.883 and r = 0.089.
Introduction: To prevent the COVID-19 spread, the government requires people to comply with health protocols in public facilities, namely by wearing masks, washing hands and keeping a distance. This study aimed to determine what factors affect and reason for compliance in implementing health protocols. Methods: This research was an analytical survey research with a cross-sectional design conducted in Semarang City, Indonesia, with a total sample of 400 respondents. The independent variables were age, education, occupation, and health status. The dependent variable was compliance in wearing masks, washing hands and keeping a distance. Data were analysed with logistic regression test with significance level of 0.05. Results: From the survey, 76.6% of respondents obeyed wearing masks, 57.4% of respondents obeyed to wash their hands and 71.1% of respondents obeyed to keep their distance. The backward type logistic regression test found that the factors associated with health protocol compliance were age, education, occupation, health status, existing regulations and the desire to maintain health with a significance value of <0.001. However, field of work was not associated with using masks (p = 0.273), while health status was not associated with handwashing habits (p = 0.344). Conclusions: Factors that are associated with respondents' compliance with the health protocol are age, education, occupation, health status, self-motivation and regulation. The government need to raise awareness on adhering health protocols through the promotion about healthy lifestyle.
