In 2020, the maternal mortality rate in Semarang increased to 98.6/100,000 and was ranked in the top 10 highest in Central Java. Until November 2021, there were 111 cases of Infant Mortality Rate (IMR), 195 cases of dengue fever, and 210 cases of malnutrition. The performance of health cadres and the role of the community must be improved. The results of observations in the field, the working cadres are still limited, and the performance of health cadres is considered not optimal. This cross-sectional study aimed to knowing the influential factors on performance of health cadres. The population of this study was all health cadres. The number of research samples was 68 respondents determined through the quota sampling. The source of data used in this study was primary data obtained through direct interviews using structured questionnaires. Data analysis used frequency distribution, bivariate, and multivariate analyses. Most of the health cadres have performed well (73.5%). The attitude of health cadres is the most influential factor on the performance of health cadres in improving health status in their area (p-value=0.001).

“…(Aseptianova et al, 2021) Berdasarkan distribusi responden atau peserta yang mengikuti promosi kesehatan yang diadakan oleh mahasiswa (i) Pascasarjana UMI, didapatkan hasil dari sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada indikator mencuci tangan dengan air mengalir dan menggunakan sabun terjadi peningkatan dari 45 orang (90%) yang menjawab benar pertanyaan pada pre test menjadi 49 orang (98%) dengan kategori cukup yang menjawab benar pertanyaan pada post test, utamanya pada item pertanyaan "air bersih yang mengalir akan membuang kumankuman yang ada pada tangan yang kotor, sedangkan sabun dapat membunuh kuman yang ada ditangan". PHBS in schools is a set of efforts implemented by school members on the basis of awareness to prevent disease, create a clean and healthy environment, and improve health. The 2015 Indonesia Health Profile presents data that there are 68% of those who have a clean and healthy lifestyle in the school environment. Based on the results of observations at SMPN 4 Sungguminasa, problems related to the school were found with scattered trash, the condition of the toilets that were not clean, the sinks for washing hands were unhygienic and some were not proper, drainage conditions for handwashing did not flow so that water for washing hands accommodated, and many of the posters about health impact messages have been damaged. The purpose of community service is to increase the knowledge of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa students about PHBS. The method used in carrying out health promotion activities is conducting education by using the method of sticking posters in places that are easily seen and followed by conducting counseling and ending with a discussion/question and answer between the instructor and the audience (participants). The target participants for the service were representatives of grade 7 and 8 students, Osis administrators, and PMR administrators totaling 50 people. According to the results of the data from this activity the average result of the level of knowledge of students (i) in the very good category after being given education related to PHBS at SMPN 4 Sungguminasa was obtained 98.4% and the average result of the level of student knowledge (i) in the very good category after being given education related to drugs, it obtained 100%. In conclusion, community service activities through health promotion counseling methods and posters can very well increase the knowledge of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa students by 98.4%, so that all students, teachers and school educators are required to routinely implement PHBS at school.

Abstract. This service program aims to increase children's interest in learning religion and culture in Indonesia. TPA provides religious education and also education on the 5M health protocol, so the attending students can increase their spiritual intelligence based on religion and local wisdom, and improve awareness to comply with the health protocols. By using a participatory empowerment method in a partnership with the mosque organizers and youth at the Al Huda mosque in Bantul, this community service had successfully carried out a series of activities which include education on 5 M health protocols, counselling for students’ parents, training for TPA teachers, teaching in TPA using learning modules and media through fairy tales with interesting stories, group exercise and traditional games, equipping the TPA facilities with 5M health protocol facilities and infrastructure, and maintaining the sustainability of the program with the formation of TPA administrators at Al Huda Mosque Tegalrejo, Tegalsari, Bantul. Al Huda TPA has succeeded in increasing children's interest in learning, religious understanding, and local wisdom, as well as successfully increasing the discipline of the students in implementing the Covid 19 health protocol by implementing the health protocol properly and correctly according to the guidelines from the government.
