One of the problems in the teaching and learning process is the lack of use of instructional media. This resulted in learning mathematics becoming boring and not in demand by students. So here we need a media that can be used in learning mathematics, one of which is the snake ladder media that is developed for learning mathematics for simple fraction material in elementary school students. Development research uses the ADDIE model which has 5 stages: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evalution. But at the stage of the implementation of this study could not be applied because of the outbreak of COVID-19, so this study stopped at the stage of media expert validation and material validation as a measure of the feasibility of ladder snake media. The results of media validation were 90%, while the results of material validation 1 were 90% and material validation 2 were 92%. Then it can be concluded that the snake ladder media can be used for learning mathematics in simple fraction material in elementary school students.
Model pembelajaran yang konvensional dan monoton akan menyebabkan siswa menjadi bosan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Maka diperlukanlah suatu model pembelajaran baru yang membuat siswa dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar matematikanya. Perkembangan teknologi membawa dampak pada pembelajaran sehingga saat ini kegiatan belajar mengajar tidak dipengaruhi oleh tempat dan waktu. Pembelajaran yang menarik perlu dimiliki oleh guru apalagi dengan hadirnya teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran blended learning berbasis Google Classroom menunjang pembelajaran yang efektif ditinjau dari motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar materi persamaan trigonometri kelas XI IPA-1 SMA Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pre-experimental kuantitatif desain one grup pre-test post-test.Instrumen yang digunakan ialah pengumpulan data angket dan tes. Angket tersebut berupa butir-butir pernyataan terkait motivasi belajar siswa sedangkan tes tersebut berupa butir-butir soal terkait hasil belajar matematika siswa pada pokok bahasan trigonometri.
AbstrakJenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Tawangsari I Sidoarjo pada materi bangun ruang melalui pemanfaatan media tiga dimensi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SDN Tawangsari I Sidoarjo sebanyak 35 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis hasil tes dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang berperan sebagai objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang meningkat melalui pemanfaatan media tiga dimensi. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 85,71 dari siklus I sebesar 73,38, dengan peningkatan persentase ketuntasan siswa yang meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 64,7% menjadi 94,3% pada siklus II. Hasil tersebut diikuti dengan peningkatan presentase aktivitas guru sebesar 11% dan presentase aktivitas siswa sebesar 26,5%. AbstractThis research was classroom action research which aimed to improve the learning outcomes of the fifth grade students at SDN Tawangsari I Sidoarjo on geometry material through the use of three dimensional media. The subjects of this research were 35 fifth grade students of SDN Tawangsari I Sidoarjo. The data were collected through observation, test, and documentation. The method used was quantitative description. The students' learning outcomes in geometry was as the object of this reasearch. The results of this study indicated that the students' learning outcomes in geometry increased through the use of three dimensional media. The average value of the students' learning outcomes increased in the second cycle to 85.71 from the first cycle which was only 73.38, along with the increase of the students' percentage completeness that increased from the first cycle which was 64.7% to 94.3% in the second cycle. These results were followed by an increase in the teacher' activities percentage about 11% and the students' activities percentage 26.5%.
The purpose of the article is to create a mathematical reasoning modeling framework through working on high order thinking questions for elementary school students. The modeling cycle (formulating, applying, interpreting, and evaluating) is a central aspect of the conception of mathematical reasoning for students for the sake of mathematical literacy. Formulating is an individual's ability to recognize and identify opportunities to use mathematics and then provide a mathematical structure for problems presented in several contextual forms. Applying is an individual's ability to apply concepts, facts, procedures, and mathematical reasoning to solve mathematically formulated problems in order to obtain mathematical conclusions. Interpreting and evaluating (interpret and evaluate) is the individual's ability to reflect on mathematical solutions, results or conclusions and interpret them into the context of real life problems. This is a literature study, the data was collecting using literature studies on scientific journal articles and news about mathematical reasoning, high order thinking, and numeracy. The modeling cycle is recommended for teaching mathematics in elementary school through series of problem solving stages in questions with higher order thinking skill concept.
Teknologi informasi semakin berkembang pesat dan telah mengubah cara berpikir manusia. Perkembangan ini dimanfaatkan dalam penyelesaian pekerjaan khususnya guru yang dituntut mampu menguasai teknologi informasi dan mengaplikasikannya pada proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi di sekolah. Penggunaan teknologi informasi ditujukan untuk membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan guru dan kepala sekolah di SMA Negeri 1 Gondang Mojokerto, maka pelatihan penggunaan teknologi informasi(IT) perlu dilakukan terutama dalam kegiatan evaluasi pembelajaran untuk menyusun alat tes dengan menggunakan Quizziz. Pelatihan penggunaan Quizziz ini dilakukan secara luring dan daring oleh seluruh guru SMA Negeri 1 Gondang, Mojokerto yang berjumlah 50 orang. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui pemaparan materi secara luring dan penugasan mandiri terbimbing secara daring. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, guru menjadi semakin meningkat kemampuannya di dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi untuk melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran.
