This study was carried out in the botanical garden / department of biology /college of science in Mustansiriyah University, Baghdad. During spring 1027 under controlled environmental conditions in greenhouse to study the role of Nano ZrO 2 activity in decrease negative effect of salinity under two levels from NaCl. The treatments included (Salinity levels : natural soil , 3000 ppm and 6000 ppm NaCl) and (Applications : control , 100 , 300 Zirconium oxide , 5 ppm of liquorice root extract and 10 ppm liquorice root extract and 300 ppm GA3) , The collected data were analyzed statistically using factorial completely randomized design. The results appeared that 300 ppm nano zirconium gave the highest values in all morphological traits (except leaves number) than other treatments. In addition to the highest values in fresh weight, dry weight, Chlorophyll a, Chlorophyll b and carbohydrate contain. Also 300 ppm nano zrconium oxide reduced the effect of salinity stress (3000 and 6000 ppm NaCl) by giving the highest values in morphological traits and in chemical contains (chlorophyll and carbohydrate) in Cowpea seedling growth.
Background: Nanoparticles, due to their small size and large surface area, have unique physicochemical properties that make them attractive for a wide range of industrial, medical, agricultural application. Objective: To prepare a novel nanoparticles from olive leaf extract and copper oxide and test its physiological effect of strawberry plants. Materials and Methods: Olive leaves extract was prepared according to a certain protocol, and the green nanoparticles were synthesized by coordination this extract with copper oxide. Characterization was done using many techniques such as FTIR, UV-Vis, XRD to identify the new copper nanoparticles. Different concentrations were prepared of CuONPs (10%, 20%, and 30%). Results: The FTIR spectrum shows peaks which confirm the coordination of olive leaves extract with the copper ion, while UV-Vis spectrum shows peaksthat confirm the formation of copper nanoparticles, the SEM shows the homogeneity of the nanoparticle that was confirmed by XRD spectrum and dataUsing30% (C3) give best seedling leaf length, and number of fruitswhile number of leaves are best in 20% (C2) compared to other concentrations. While the highest value in the number of flowers in treatmentof bio fertilizer. Best concentration of DNA appears in C3 (134.7) while best DNA purity is found on C2 (20%). The chlorophyll was also measured using SPADwhich show optimum with C3 (30%). Conclusions: Using30% (C3) give best seedling leaf length, number of fruits and chlorophyll while number of leaves are best in 20% (C2).

Also tested was the oil's efficacy against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. According to membrane permeability studies, it is highly effective in passing through cell membranes and themes, increasing the leakage of cytoplasmic contents.
Research was done in Laboratories of biology department-collage of check antibacterial activity of hot water extract of flax seed (Linum usitalissimum) and fenugreek seed (Trigonella foenum-graecum) against bacteria that isolated from mouth by using holes method on nutrient agar. Extracts was prepared of seeds of plants that studying in stoke then bacteria that isolated from mouth of different people in different age categories and do different habits such as (drinking wine ,un brush teeth regularly ). Some species of bacteria were diagnosis in this experiment which were (pseudomonas spp. Staphelococcus and Streptococcus spp.) this experiment were measured the diameter of inhibition zone around the holes in petri dishes. Both extracts of Linum and Trigonella seed showed an antibacterial activity against bacteria in study, also the Trigonella seed extract present more effective than Linum seed extract on bacteria.
The green plant-mediated synthesis of iron nanoparticles (GPS-Fe) nanoparticles (NPs) has become more and more popular. In this study, fresh rosemary leaf aqueous extracts that decreased aqueous silver nitrate were used to demonstrate the synthesis of FeNPs. This procedure allowed for the synthesis of NPs that were examined using a different of analytical techniques, including transmission electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, FTIR, ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometry, and studies on dynamic light scattering. According to ocular observation and UV-Vis spectra, fresh leaf extract treatment changed the color of aqueous ferric nitrate to a bluish hue. Additionally, the TEM analysis revealed that the synthesized NPs were evenly dispersed and had average sizes less than 65 nm. Meanwhile, the bioactivity test shows that the NPs had an inhibitory effect on a number of pathogenic bacteria and caused a high rate of mortality in three stages of house fly larvae.
