This study aims to establish a model for integrating scientific inquiry and religious practice at Islamic religious universities such as UIN Alauddin Makassar. This study is an example of a descriptive type of field research using qualitative research tools. A factual and methodical summary of occurrences and events about a phenomenon's elements, properties, and interactions is provided by qualitative research. This research's findings indicate that the integration model used at UIN Alauddin Makassar is an interconnection integration model. Specifically, this model involves the integration of religion and general sciences via the idea of religious values. Students are expected to understand religious principles, wisdom and nature passages, and wise eloquence scriptures. Integration of scientific principles can also be seen in education and classroom instruction. This research recommendation is the need for all components of UIN Alauddin Makassar to refer to the guidelines for scientific integration so that it is more implemented, practical, straightforward, and firmly follows what is stated in the tri dharma of higher education. In addition, it is also necessary to organize human resources professionals and position descriptions according to the field of expertise in realizing the success of scientific integration.
Mangrove forests are one of the most important ecosystems for coastal communities. However, mangrove forests are degraded and damaged by human activities. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to know how the brain gym improves short term memory function to children. This qualitative research with a literature study was conducted by collecting various sources from journals and books related to the focus of the study. The data analysis used was descriptive narrative analysis. The results showed that the movements in the brain gym can improve short-term memory function that is the progress of children's ability to read. Brain gym movements train the sensory areas of the brain so that the resistance of the information lasts longer, makes memory stronger, making the learning process easier and eliminating learning obstacles. Based on the study, a brain gym is highly recommended for children whose mathematical abilities are not yet optimal. It implies that teachers, parents, or caregivers should provide a stimulus in the form of brain gym to children. With that stimulus, it can improve brain function and relax the body. The children become more enthusiastic and improve their learning achievement.
This study aimed to describe: 1) the procurement of educator resources in MTs Makassar City; 2) the pattern of developing educator resources at MTs Makassar City; 3) the assessment of educator resources at MTs in Makassar City. The sources of research data were obtained directly from the principal and deputy principal of MTs, and educators at MTs Makassar City. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that: 1) The procurement of educator resources had been going well, but there were still processes that were not optimal, such as the process of appointment and placement that was not following the qualifications of educational background with the subjects being taught. 2) The pattern of developing educator resources had been going well.
