The problem of processing industrial products and waste from various industries containing metallic mercury or its compounds, which is acute in connection with the increasing requirements for environmental protection and, in particular, water resources, is considered. The results of calculation of the formation of mercury-containing waste and the development of a set of measures for the rational use of water resources of the OPS LLC «EVO» are presented. The environmental impact of the environmental impact assessment of OPS LLC «EVO» was assessed. As a result of such an assessment, the main sources of pollution of the water basin were identified. An assessment of the environmental impact of the LLC «EVO» company and analysis of the technology for processing mercury-containing wastes were carried out. The developed comprehensive measures for the protection and rational use of water resources will contribute to improving the level of environmental safety.
The procedure of forming a transport (parametric) reserve for heating systems of cities and settlements in cases of increasing line diameters with a constant network configuration is considered. For functioning heat supply systems, the formation of a reserve will ensure uninterrupted and safe operation. Safe operation is supposed to be ensured through analysis and prevention of possible emergency situations. The development of mathematical models of the transport reserve is based on the energy equivalent of subscriber subsystems of heating systems, which distinguishes the obtained mathematical models from existing analogues. To evaluate the impact of parametric optimization results on economic indicators, a computational experiment was conducted. As an object of study, the design scheme of a residential microdistrict was considered. The analysis of the obtained results of the computational experiment proved the operability of the obtained mathematical models of transport reservation for functioning heat supply systems. It is possible to make transport reservation for systems of any sizes and configurations or for the studied fragments of these systems. For practical application, it is of interest to calculate the parametric reserve of individual houses that have autonomous boiler rooms.
A description is given of the method of remote detection of the existence or absence of leaks in functioning heat supply systems, developed on the basis of a two-alternative hypothesis. It is proposed to apply a method for determining the location and volume of leaks based on the use of energy equivalent. It is proposed to check the presence of a leak between static assessments of the state of heat supply systems according to the data of remote manometric survey, with the help of which a simultaneous interrogation of pressure sensors in the power nodes of the system under consideration is performed. In case of abrupt changes in the estimated parameters of the system, it is concluded that there is a leak. The results of a computational experiment are presented, compared with the results of calculating the parameters in the system based on the results of manometric survey.
A basic list of polluting components released into the air zone of production sites of the metalwork and welding division of the VASO facility has been established, with differentiation into 6 sectors with emission generators. It was found that the greatest contribution to the overall background of polluting components accumulation in terms of quantity is made by 2 sites: sandblasting and gas welding, the sector of plasma cutting and alloys based on it is distinguished by the variety of components allocated. Quantitative estimation of gross and maximum one-time emissions has been implemented. Analytical assessment recorded by: inorganic dust with SiO2 over 70 %, fixed at sandblasting sector, a slight excess of MPC and sector gas welding in the NO2 limit value with the MPC.
The environmental impact of the LLC «EVO» company in Voronezh was assessed and the process of processing mercury-containing waste was analyzed. The characteristics of storage devices for storage and storage of industrial waste are considered. Comprehensive environmental protection measures aimed at reducing the negative impact of mercury-containing wastes that emit mercury vapor on air and water are proposed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
