ResumoO artigo apresenta um estudo de caso que investiga a adaptação de crianças com de ciência em escolas de educação infantil (adaptação inclusiva) no município de Natal/RN. Para a coleta de dados se procedeu a observação com registros em diário de campo e entrevistas com pedagogas de duas instituições e com uma mãe de uma criança com de ciência. A análise dos dados, a partir da análise textual discursiva, levou a organização das seguintes re exões: 1) primeiros dias da criança com de ciência na escola, destacando a importância da presença da família, uma vez que o período de adaptação envolve sentimento de insegurança; 2) o professor e o processo de adaptação destacando a falta de conhecimento especí co e de suporte como elementos que di cultam o processo de inclusão, desa o enfrentado com estratégias baseadas na exploração do lúdico e 3) a relação entre os dispositivos legais e a realidade da adaptação inclusiva, destacando uma lacuna entre as condições prescritas e o dia a dia da escola. Abstracte article presents a case study that explores the process of adaptation of children with disabilities in child education in the city of Natal / RN. For the collecting data, the procedures were observation with notes at a eld diary and interviews with pedagogues of two institutions and a mother of a child with disability. e data analysis, based on discursive textual analyses, brings the organization of the following re ections: 1) rst days of the child with disability at school, highlighting the importance of the family presence, because the adaptation period involves insecurity feelings; 2) teacher and the adaptation process, highlighting the lack of speci c knowledge and lack of support making the inclusion process di cult, the challenges are faced with strategies based on playful activities; 3) the relation between legal documents and the inclusive adaptation reality, highlighting the gap between the prescribed conditions and the school daily life.El proceso de adaptación en la educación infantil de los niños con discapacidad en el contexto de la escuela inclusiva.
