El presente estudio se desarrolló con el objetivo de establecer una revisión bibliográfica documental sobre la realidad aumentada en la educación universitaria con respecto a las áreas de la biología y de la química. Como metodología investigación se aplicó el enfoque multi método o también conocido como método mixto toda la investigación. el diseño fue de tipo documental, estableciéndose una revisión bibliográfica de 564 artículos de investigación relacionados a la biología la ciencia y la química aplicándose la realidad aumentada. a través de los criterios de inclusión y exclusión se considerarán 180 artículos para la revisión investigativa. entre los principales resultados se puede determinar que a partir del año 2012 la realidad aumentada se ha vuelto muy popular en la educación. por otra parte, la realidad aumentada ofrece ventajas afiliadas a la innovación educativa facilitando el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. los retos de la realidad aumentada están sustentados en los altos costos de los dispositivos y la brecha tecnológica.
Este proyecto se basa en la identificación de las metodologías activas (recursos virtuales o físicos) que se utilizan en el proceso de enseñanza o aprendizaje en la temática de “célula”, en los aprendices de primero de BGU. Dicha investigación fue realizada en la Institución Educativa “Luis Cordero” del cantón Azogues. Con la finalidad de recolectar la información necesaria se utilizaron distintos instrumentos metodológicos, en este caso, diarios de campo, encuestas y pretest; la información obtenida tanto del maestro como del aprendiz se relaciona con la variedad de metodologías activas (recursos virtuales o físicos) que se emplean en las clases. Los datos obtenidos se estudiaron de la siguiente manera: el pretest identificó las dificultades de aprendizaje que tienen los aprendices con respecto a los conceptos básicos de Biología, y sobre todo se comprendió la confusión de términos biológicos que existe. También la encuesta obtuvo resultados sobre como perciben los estudiantes a las clases que se imparten en la asignatura de Biología, en este caso, una combinación entre lo teórico – magistral que conlleva a la memorización. Entonces, en los aprendices se evidenció la nula motivación que tienen por asistir y aprender estos conceptos biológicos. Concluyendo que, sería de gran ayuda emplear metodologías activas como páginas web que permitan enseñar (docente) y aprender (estudiante) estas temáticas de Biología.
Esta investigación de carácter descriptiva analiza y describe la funcionalidad de los laboratorios: Universidad Nacional de Educación (UNAE) y de la Universidad Experimental Yachay Tech. La experimentación en el laboratorio es fundamental en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje; de esta manera, los laboratorios son ambientes de aprendizaje que permiten al estudiante poner en práctica los conocimientos teóricos para adquirir destrezas. Esta investigación se desarrolló con un enfoque de la metodología mixta, inmerso en el estudio de campo. Los instrumentos empleados en la recolección de datos fueron: observación participante y la encuesta, los cuales se aplicaron a 95 estudiantes de la carrera en Ciencias Experimentales. Según los resultados, cerca del 90% de los encuestados utilizan adecuadamente los materiales de laboratorio después de recibir prácticas en estas dos universidades. Además, aproximadamente el 50% de la muestra se sienten capaces de replicar una práctica de laboratorio en su vida profesional docente.
Este artículo contribuye en la educación de la Biología mediante una metodología activa virtual que favorece la enseñanza/aprendizaje de “la célula”, dicha metodología se empleó en las clases que se brindan a los aprendices de primero de bachillerato general unificado. Esta investigación responde al problema de la poca aplicación de metodologías activas en las clases que se imparten en la asignatura de Biología. En la primera fase de la investigación, se elaboró una indagación teórica sobre los distintos recursos (experimentos, simulaciones y dinámicas) que se pueden emplear dentro de las clases de Biología. Este trabajo emplea una investigación de observación directa (campo) y tiene un enfoque mixto: datos cuantitativos (estadísticos) y cualitativos (opiniones). Los distintos instrumentos de recolección de datos aplicados a la muestra (120 aprendices) fueron: observación participante. pre -post evaluación y entrevista directa (educador). Finalmente, se tiene la elaboración, diseño, estructura, desarrollo y evaluación de la metodología activa virtual: página web que contiene los conceptos, simulaciones y experimentación. La principal conclusión fue que la metodología activa (página web) favorece de forma significativa el aprendizaje de los aprendices; y sirve como un recurso para el educador.
En este artículo se busca desarrollar una aplicación para celular que se centre en el uso de la realidad aumentada esto con el fin de favorecer al rendimiento académico de los 35 alumnos de segundo año de educación primaria del Centro Educativo Dr. “Manuel Agustín Aguirre”. El paradigma empleado es el interpretativo y el enfoque de la investigación es mixta lo cual permite contrastar las ideas y datos estadísticos provenientes de los sujetos de estudio. Entre las principales herramientas de recolección de la información se tiene a la observación y las evaluaciones (inicial y final). Entre los resultados más significativos se evidencia que, al inicio los porcentajes evaluativos de estudiantes se situaban en un 38% mientras que, el porcentaje de la evaluación después del empleo de la realidad aumentada fue de un 72% enfatizando en que, este tipo de tecnologías contribuye activamente en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje. Finalmente, se demuestra que la educación se debe basar en la utilización de nuevas tecnologías, ya que, estas mejoran y potencian las distintas habilidades, capacidades y competencias del alumnado.
