Las enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles constituyen en la actualidad uno de los mayores retos que enfrentan los sistemas de salud a nivel mundial, el gran número de casos afectados con sus consabidas tasas de incidencia cada vez más crecientes, su gradual contribución a la mortalidad genera. Analizar alteraciones hematológicas que desarrollan los adultos mayores con enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles. El presente estudio es un diseño documental, basado en artículos científicos sobre las alteraciones hematológicas, enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles, de tipo descriptivo, observacional, utilizando como método la exploración bibliográfica a partir de una revisión de 96 artículos de revistas publicados del 2015 al 2022, paginas oficiales como la Organización Mundial de la Salud, revisión de artículos científicos, bases de datos y herramientas como Google Académico y bases de datos Pubmed Central, Scielo, Elsevier. Esta búsqueda se la realizo llevando una jerarquía organizada comenzando desde el título, resumen y palabras claves, hasta la obtención de los resultados y discusión, utilizando criterios de inclusión mencionados a continuación: que sean artículos originales, resúmenes de artículos originales, que sean de idiomas inglés y español, que el resumen tenga palabras claves que la información se relevante al tema de investigación. Se logro identificar un sinnúmero de alteraciones hematológicas en ciertas enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles, las mismas que están inmersas en la serie roja, blanca y plaquetas ya que estas pueden variar dependiendo de la línea celular que se encuentre afectada, las más mencionadas fueron las anemias.
