Introducción: La desnutrición es una enfermedad que afecta a la población en general especialmente a los niños menores de cinco años, alterando su correcto funcionamiento en el crecimiento y desarrollo. Existen muchos factores que conllevan a que se presente la desnutrición infantil, entre ellos los factores socioeconómicos, el desconocimiento por parte de las madres o cuidadores. Objetivo: Validar el instrumento diseñado para evaluar los factores que influyen en la desnutrición infantil. Determinar los factores que influyen en la desnutrición infantil en niños menores de 5 años, en las zonas rurales del cantón Simón Bolívar. Materiales y Métodos: Se empleó una investigación, cuantitativa, no experimental, corte transversal de tipo exploratorio, descriptivo y correlacional para obtener los datos de la presente investigación; para la validación del cuestionario se la realizó bajo el juicio de expertos, se realizó una entrevista a saturación, se utilizó un cuestionario validado y se realizó el plan piloto en una parte de la muestra escogida para la investigación. Resultados: Luego de la respectiva validación del instrumento cuantitativo por parte de los expertos, se obtuvo un puntaje de 95.46 de confiabilidad, en el plan piloto aplicado a 17 participantes sobre los factores que influyen en la desnutrición infantil en niños menores de 5 años, se tiene los diferentes resultados en porcentajes. Conclusiones: Una vez realizado el plan piloto, se obtuvo que los factores que influyen en la desnutrición infantil son: socioeconómicos, demográficos, nivel de conocimiento de las madres o cuidadores y hábitos alimenticios; por lo que se debe aplicar a toda la población en estudio, para tomar acciones correctivas en mejora de la salud de los niños menores de 5 años. Introducción. En la actualidad y debido a los avances científicos en el campo medicinal, el promedio de vida del adulto mayor se ha extendido de forma radical, ya que existe una mayor cantidad de sujetos que sobrepasan los 60 años. Objetivos. Determinar la validez, pertinencia y confiabilidad del instrumento, identificar el papel de enfermería en el cuidado del adulto mayor con enfermedades crónicas-degenerativas en el hospital León Becerra de Milagro; evaluar el estado emocional de los adultos mayores. Materiales y Método: Investigación mixta, de corte transversal, descriptiva, el instrumento fue diseñado para la investigación en base a los objetivos y el contenido teórico, es validado por juicio de expertos y confirmado por alfa de Cronbach; se trabaja un plan piloto con 20 adultos mayores; la investigación cualitativa es fenomenológica; se usó como técnica la entrevista a saturación. Resultados: El instrumento cuantitativo muestra una confiabilidad de 89.3% que equivale a confiable, con un alfa de Cronbach de 0.90; el papel de la enfermería es netamente preventivo en un 87%; las curaciones se realizan como parte del cuidado de los adultos mayores; encuesta cualitativa; se define tendencias a la depresión, con síntomas de ansiedad e incertidumbre, sentimientos de incapacidad con ideas persecutorias y suidas. Conclusiones: La falta de instrumentos dificulta el éxito investigativo, con la validación se amplía el criterio científico de los datos y se puede replicar; el instrumento fue aprobado por su validez, pertinencia y confiabilidad; es decir, que se encuentra apto para aplicarlo a la muestra que presenta está investigación. La instrucción que reciben de las enfermeras disminuye las visitas al centro hospitalario. SUMMARY Introduction. Introducción: Las infecciones nosocomiales son un problema de salud pública e incrementan su incidencia incluyendo a sectores sociales y económicos; en este conflicto resultan afectados tanto los pacientes como el personal médico; la tensión profesional y emocional que se mantienen en esta área, influyen en los procedimientos y podrían causar un incremento en las infecciones. Objetivo. Determinar la validez, pertinencia y confiabilidad del instrumento de validación, identificar las infecciones nosocomiales y su relación con el lavado de manos y verificar el lavado de manos quirúrgico en el personal de salud, evaluar el estado emocional en el área post quirúrgica. Materiales y métodos: Presenta un enfoque mixto: Cuantitativo, de corte transversal, de tipo exploratorio, descriptivo y correlacional. En la indagación en campo, se emplea un instrumento validado por un juicio de expertos y Alpha de Cronbach; dentro de la cual se seleccionan 20 personas con las que se desarrolla una prueba piloto, se selecciona la muestra de manera aleatoria. Cualitativa: investigación con contenido fenomenológico, se trabajó con categorías y codificación respectiva, se empleó la técnica de la entrevista a saturación, se selecciona la muestra con la técnica de bola de nieve. Resultados: La herramienta cuantitativa exhibe una validez de 90%; Pertinencia de 89 %; 89,61% del estado de confiabilidad con un Alpha de Cronmbach de 0,86; el personal no está cumpliendo de forma idónea con las medidas de bioseguridad, puesto que, dentro del centro hospitalario, el 77% de los individuos ha presentado infecciones nosocomiales. El estado emocional describe estrés, con inestabilidad e inseguridad emocional por la tensión en área por las decisiones que se deben tomar. Conclusiones: El escaso proceso de validación de instrumentos de medición interfiere en calidad/validez/credibilidad de los trabajos investigativos, los procedimientos no son cumplidos a cabalidad por la tensión y responsabilidad de los profesionales respecto al estado de sus pacientes, el temor al fracaso y el sufrimiento de los familiares y pacientes. Introducción: El cuello uterino es un sector anatómico en la mujer que es propenso a adquirir diversos tipos de infecciones cuando tienen relaciones sexuales o sin ellas; no respeta ninguna condición o estatus, siendo un problema de salud pública. En muchos casos las mujeres no se realizan un examen especializado para su control o diagnostico preventivo. Objetivos: Determinar la validez, pertinencia y confiabilidad del cuestionario diseñado para evaluar las barreras a la citología de cuello uterino; identificar las barreras de acceso a la asistencia de citología del cuello uterino; analizar el estado emocional de las mujeres que asisten a consulta Materiales y Métodos: Se aplicó una metodología mixta: cuantitativa de corte transversal, tipo exploratorio; la validación se efectuó través del juicio de expertos; la cualitativa es fenomenológica; se utiliza una técnica de entrevista a saturación, organizada por categorías y codificación Resultados: El instrumento cuantitativo obtiene un puntaje 91,87% de validez; 92.45% pertinencia y 90.91% de confiabilidad. Entre las barreras que se presentan para su revisión ginecológica prevalece las barreras socio demográficas; las mujeres que sienten el temor al examen 33%. En la entrevista se comprueba que no existe temor al examen, siente incomodidad frente al médico, existen dificultades para el examen, por el tipo de pensamiento, presentan síntomas de ansiedad, angustia, inseguridad y dificultad para la toma de decisiones sin contar con su pareja. Conclusiones: La preocupación de la población en estudio es enterarse que tiene una enfermedad mayor; el desconocimiento es general, pero asocian a la citología con algún tipo de infecciones por tener sexo con sus parejas, temor al cáncer. Las barreras se relacionan al desconocimiento sobre las enfermedades infecciosas y su origen; el examen suena a enfermedades; las barreas psicológicas complican el enfoque científico y aleja a la mujer de la prevención y detección oportuna al cáncer cervicouterino. SUMMARY Introduction: The cervix is an anatomical sector in women that is prone to acquire various types of infections with or without sexual intercourse; No respects no condition or status, being a public health problem. In many cases women do not undergo a specialized examination for control or diagnosis preventive. Objectives: To determine the validity, relevance and reliability of the questionnaire designed to assess barriers to cervical cytology; identify barriers to access to cervical cytology care; analyze the emotional state of the women who attend the consultation. Materials and Methods: applied a mixed methodology: quantitative cross-sectional, exploratory type; the validation was carried out through expert judgment; the qualitative is phenomenological; I know uses a saturation interview technique, organized by categories and coding Results: The quantitative instrument obtains a 91.87% validity score;92.45% relevance and 90.91% reliability.
