Resolver el alto tiempo de espera de las consultas de especialidad en un Hospital público, desde que se ingresa una solicitud de interconsulta hasta la resolución de ésta va en directa relación con la insatisfacción usuaria. Esta realidad se enfrentó rediseñando los procesos administrativos en el departamento de gestión del usuario para reducir el tiempo de permanencia de los usuarios en la lista de espera de especialidad traumatológica no garantizada. Para ello se identificaron los nudos críticos del proceso administrativo para lograr una propuesta de rediseño de éstos, mediante metodología de rediseño de procesos, esto implicó el diseño de diagramas de flujo que permitieron reducir el tiempo de espera entre las distintas etapas del proceso, lo que fue coherente con los objetivos sanitarios 2011-2020 y los compromisos de gestión definidos para la disminución de tiempos de espera para consultas de especialidad e intervenciones quirúrgicas.
Introducción: El aumento de la población mayor de 60 años a nivel mundial es algo que se evidencia en Chile. Según cifras del último censo de población chilena (2017), existen más de dos millones de personas mayores de 65 años, lo cual representa un 11,4% de los habitantes del país. Por tanto, el envejecimiento activo es algo fundamental para promover la calidad de vida a medida que se envejece, aminorando los efectos negativos del envejecimiento.
Objetivo: Conocer la calidad de vida autopercibida y la frecuencia de actividad física grupal de adultos mayores que pertenecen a agrupaciones guiadas por monitoras comunitarias de la comuna de Chillán.
Materiales y Método: Se utilizó un cuestionario con tres apartados (Sociodemográficos, de salud y WHOQOL-BREF) aplicado a tres agrupaciones de Adulto Mayor de Chillán y el análisis se hizo por medio de porcentajes, promedio y desviación estándar.
Resultados y conclusiones: A mayor edad, mayor puntaje promedio en calidad de vida en 4 de las 5 áreas estudiadas, siendo las personas mayores de 80 años quienes obtuvieron los mayores puntajes promedio. Sin embargo, el área calidad de vida general y física no destaca por los puntajes promedio obtenidos, salvo en las personas que realizan actividad física tres veces por semana.
