Рассмотрены возможности использования инденторов-объективов для оптических и спектрометрических исследований локальных свойств и структуры материалов. Такие инденторы благодаря специальной огранке позволяют получать полноценное оптическое изображение исследуемой области поверхности образца во время выполнения измерений методами индентирования и царапания. На противоположных концах такого алмазного индентора формируются две центрально симметричные пирамиды Берковича, повернутые относительно друг друга на 60°. Эти пирамиды образуют три плоскопараллельных пластины, через которые квазипараллельный пучок света от микроскопа проходит, не претерпевая полного внутреннего отражения, как к образцу, так и обратно. Представленные данные получены с использованием индентора в форме двухсторонней трехгранной пирамиды Берковича. Продемонстрировано измерение спектров рассеяния Рамана и Мандельштама-Бриллюэна из области под индентором с помощью серийных спектрометров. Показано, что, комбинируя оптические и механические методы исследования, можно получить детальную информацию о фазовом состоянии вещества при интенсивной пластической деформации. Предложенный подход применим как к прозрачным, так и непрозрачным материалам, поскольку наблюдение происходит через прозрачный алмазный индентор-объектив. Обсуждается возможность одновременного картографирования оптических и механических свойств исследуемого материала с пространственной привязкой получаемых данных с микронной точностью. Продемонстрировано отслоение алмазоподобной пленки при индентировании, изменение фазового состава кремния в области развитой пластической деформации, измеренного медом Рамановской спектроскопии, рассчитана скорость звука в деформированном алмазным индентором пластике методом рассеяния Мандельштама-Бриллюэна. Ожидается, что данный подход, совмещающий оптические и механические методы исследования, будет продуктивным при исследовании высокомолекулярных полимерных материалов и фармацевтических препаратов, склонных к формированию поликристаллических структур и попадающих в разные конформационные состояния.
В данной работе обсуждается возможность определения коэффициентов уравнения состояния, описывающего упругопластическое поведение изучаемого материла, путем сопоставления экспериментальных данных с модельными расчетами. Примененный метод инструментального индентирования при использовании дополнительных методик позволяет получить не только значения твердости и модуля упругости, но и дополнительную информацию о зависимости этих величин от глубины погружения индентора, а также о вязкоупругих свойствах тестируемого материала. Исследование производилось с помощью модернизированного нанотвердомера НаноСкан-4D, оснащенного сапфировым сферическим индентором. Форма индентора была получена при помощи сканирования атомно-силовым микроскопом. Работа с минимальными нагрузками и максимальным латеральным разрешением, которые требуются для исследования структурированных материалов, возможна при использовании наноиндентационного модуля НаноСкан-4D и индентора с радиусом кривизны менее 20 мкм. Представлены результаты измерения для сферического индентора при исследовании материалов с различными типами химических связей. Помимо образцов металлов (сталь, алюминий, алюминиевые сплавы D16 и AMg6), измерялись образцы поликарбоната и плавленого кварца. Полученные данные указывают на линейный характер кривой сигма-эпсилон для исследованных материалов. На основе анализа полученных данных делается вывод о перспективности такого рода исследований и информативности результатов инструментального индентирования в плане получения информации о параметрах упругопластического поведения тестируемого материала. Важным направлением дальнейших исследований, расширяющих возможности получения дополнительной информации о упругопластических свойствах, является разработка методики получения достоверной информации о диаграмме сигма-эпсилон при индентировании кристаллических материалов инденторами с разными углами при вершине.
