A new species from Ghana, Psallops niedzwiedzkii Herczek & Popov, sp. n. is described. The dorsal habitus, head and male genitalia are presented and some morphological features are discussed. A key, short descriptions and map of the distribution of the African species of the genus are also provided.

The paper presents descriptions and illustrations of two new species from the genus Psallops: P. schmitzi from New Hebridae and P. webbi from Nigeria. Photographs and line drawings general habitus and male genitalia are provided. A short review of the subfamily Psallopinae and two other related subfamilies Isometopinae and Cylapinae is given.

The paper presents description and illustrations of a new peculiar species from the genus Psallops, P. coloratus sp. n. from Southeast Asia (Singapore). Photographs, line drawings of the general habitus and a short comparison with a species from Thailand are provided.

Two new species of the genus Fulvius Stål are described from the Philippines and Papua New Guinea. A taxonomic review of representatives of the F.bifenestratus species group, illustrations of the male genitalia, a color habitus image of each species, and a key to species of the group are provided.

This joint article should be considered as a continuation of a series of publications on fossil mirids from the Baltic amber (Prussian Formation). Miridae, or plant bugs, are the largest family of contemporary true bugs (Heteroptera) widespread all over the world, with about 1,500 genera and over 10,000 species (Schuh 1995, Kerzhner & Josifov 1999). Recent Isometopinae is a relatively small subfamily including about 190 species, strongly cryptic in habits and rare in world collections. Some are predaceous and may hunt soft-bodied, mostly aphids and scale insects. Most inclusions of fossil plant bugs are usually found in the Eocene Baltic amber, where mirids are mainly represented by the subfamilies Cylapinae, Isometopinae, and Mirinae (Popov & Herczek 2008). These fossil insects were rather scarce only in the first years of their discovery (Popov & Herczek 1992, 1993; Herczek 1993).  Judging from the described and undescribed of Baltic amber mirids known to us just now, the isometopinae are not so rare among other fossil mirids and provide evidence for a considerable diversity at least since Eocene time.

The paper presents description of new anthocorid taxa from the inclusions in the Upper Eocene Baltic amber: Xyloesteles parvulus gen.nov and sp. nov. and Xyloesteles kerneggeriorum sp. nov. They are described and illustrated here. These fossil flower bugs of the family Anthocoridae (s.l.) belong to the tribe Dufouriellini Van Duzee (Lyctocorinae) are reported for the first time.

The extinct members of the Psallopinae are important for classifying and understanding the relationships among the closely related mirid groups Isometopinae, Psallopinae (sensu Schuh, 1976) and Cylapinae. These subfamilies are considered to be the most primitive sister groups among mirids and their taxonomical composition, geographical distribution and life history are still poorly known. Extant Psallopinae appear to live on tree trunks and bark. For instance, the species Psallops myiocephalus Yas. from Japan is only known from an oak Quercus acutissima (Yasunaga, 1999). The 14 extant species of this genus have been described from Old World tropics, subtropics and warm temperate regions: Micronesia (Guam, Marian and Caroline Islands), Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Ghana, Congo, Singapore, South Africa, Japan, China, Taiwan and Thailand (Usinger, 1946; Carvalho, 1956; Linnavuori & Alamy, 1986; Schuh, 1995; Yasunaga, 1999; Lin, 2004, 2006; Yasunaga & Yamada, 2010; Herczek & Popov, 2014).
