<p>A entrevista foi realizada em meio ao processo conhecido como <em>Estallido Social</em>, iniciado no Chile em outubro de 2019. O <em>Estallido</em> consiste em uma série de protestos que congregam diversos movimentos sociais e também parte da população civil não organizada. A onda de protestos teve início na capital chilena, Santiago, com o movimento dos estudantes secundaristas contra o aumento de 30 pesos na passagem de metrô de Santiago. A pauta específica contra o aumento da passagem transformou-se na bandeira pelo fim do neoliberalismo, alertando os vizinhos latino-americanos da falência deste modelo de desenvolvimento econômico e todas as violações de direitos humanos que ele implica e mascara. Rapidamente, o movimento espalhou-se por diversas cidades do país e ganhou o apoio de outros setores da população, sobretudo dos setores feministas organizados.</p>
Resumo: O artigo discute os processos de memorialização ocorridos no Brasil a partir do processo de justiça de transição e das políticas públicas de memória. Tais processos, como veremos, são marcados por uma trajetória não linear, contenciosa, e atravessada por um emaranhado de atores, tanto no Estado como nos movimentos que atuam no campo por Memória, Verdade e Justiça, responsáveis por efetuar mudanças nas “estruturas de oportunidades políticas”. Para tal, iluminaremos dois desses processos de memorialização atualmente em curso, por meio das experiências do antigo 1° Batalhão de Infantaria Blindada do Exército (1° BIB), em Barra Mansa (RJ), e da Casa Marighella, em Salvador (BA).
El periodo marcado por el cierre político en Brasil y por la represión policial a los movimientos sociales ha mostrado a diversos sectores de la Iglesia católica a nivel nacional como actores centrales en la oposición política y la denuncia contra el régimen militar y sus actos de persecución. La propuesta de este artículo es examinar los elementos que participaron en la formación del imaginario social de la Iglesia católica brasileña, lo cual contribuyó a la redefinición de su propia cosmovisión religiosa. Así, el léxico discursivo construido por los católicos militantes, la red de relaciones formada por obispos y sacerdotes de las diócesis más avanzadas en Brasil, el papel particular asumido por la Confederación Nacional de Obispos de Brasil (cnbb) y los términos en que se dieron los conflictos por la hegemonía entre Iglesia y Estado durante la dictadura militar brasileña serán especialmente analizados en este escrito. Religión y política en la nueva gramática de los sectores progresistas católicos ya no significarían conceptos antagónicos, sino que se convertirían en sinónimos. La metodología utilizada conjuga el análisis de fuentes documentales depositadas, sobre todo, en el Archivo Público del Estado de Rio de Janeiro (aperj) y los testimonios producidos bajo la historia oral.
