resuMen el objetivo de este artículo es analizar algunas posibles contribuciones de las organizaciones fundadas por personas emigradas desde el continente africano a la integración sociocultural en tres comunidades Autó-nomas españolas. Para ello, se empieza definiendo la integración como proceso, con particular atención al papel que la literatura nacional e internacional ha otorgado al asociacionismo de inmigrantes en él. Posteriormente, se enfoca el caso particular del asociacionismo de las personas de origen africano y su incidencia en la integración en todo lo referido a la interadaptación social y cultural, según la doble mirada que encontramos en las entrevistas realizadas tanto a representantes de asociaciones de africanos como a técnicos de la Administración y representantes de entidades sociales que colaboran con aquellas asociaciones. se trata de analizar los discursos de aquellos actores, sobre las razones de la existencia, los objetivos y las actividades de las asociaciones de africanos tanto para los propios asociados como para sus inmigrantes connacionales y para la sociedad de acogida. los elementos de sintonía y discrepancia en las perspectivas exploradas configuran un campo de acción compartido por ambos actores, en el proceso de construcción de cohesión social y convivencia, pero al mismo tiempo sugieren la existencia de algunas limitaciones en el mismo.

AbstrActThis article aims to analyse some possible contributions from organisations funded by immigrants from the African continent to the socio-cultural integration in three Regions in Spain. In order to do so, first there is a definition of integrations as a process, paying special attention to the role that national and international literature have given to the associations of immigrants. <p class="AIBR"><span lang="ES-TRAD">Els Orriols es un barrio popular de Valencia reconocido por su carácter multicultural, donde se está produciendo una movilización que trata de redefinir su imagen y contrarrestar aspectos que afectan negativamente a las condiciones de vida de sus vecinos y vecinas. Este texto se acerca al caso concreto de ese barrio y esa movilización para subrayar la pertinencia y potencial de la etnografía en contextos urbanos, en especial a la hora de aprehender la emergencia de subjetividades y formas de agencia, en procesos comunitarios. La etnografía en curso pone encima de la mesa manifestaciones de subjetividades y vías de agencia como son la evocación de la memoria, la expresión de temor o miedo, proyectos de futuro, expresiones de igualación y ritualización de la comunidad barrial.</span></p>
Durante el periodo de crisis económica que se inició en 2008, Ecuador se convirtió en un destino atractivo para la emigración española cualificada, enmarcada en los nuevos flujos migratorios del Norte-Sur Global. El artículo trata de arrojar luz sobre la emigración española de científicos y científicas a este país a través del análisis de sus trayectorias formativas y profesionales, el papel de las redes científicas, las estrategias migratorias y de inserción laboral en destino, las percepciones sobre el sistema académico ecuatoriano y los planes de futuro. Para ello se ha utilizado una estrategia metodológica cualitativa mediante entrevistas en profundidad a investigadores/as españoles/as emigrados/as a Ecuador. Los resultados del estudio muestran la relevancia de tres factores en el desarrollo de este movimiento migratorio (las políticas de atracción, la situación de los mercados del conocimiento y la importancia de las redes académicas), así como las expectativas de retorno a medio o largo plazo.
