Background Broiler chickens have properties as meat-producing poultry and produce meat with soft fiber quality. Broiler’s embryo needs to be given attention, especially against disease. The purpose of the study was to observe the trend of the research topic and external factors which could affect the embryo’s growth of broiler. Methods This study used meta-data from Scopus. There were 162 samples started from 2006-to 2022. The data were analyzed using a bibliometric method with two software, Vosviewer, and Biblioshiy from R studio. Results It was found that the study of broiler chicken embryos had developed well, especially those related to genetics, disease, and also the immunity system. But the result showed that topics about the disease, viruses, and bacteria were more popular than topics about the gene. The result also showed that based on the importance and development of topics, the words such as “chicken”, “genes”, “development”, “effect”, growth”, and “control” had importance for the study and developed well in research. It means that genes influenced the growth of the embryo of a chicken. But still, even though a chicken gene was predetermined, the genetic engineering of chicken insemination to produce a superior breed with a fast-growing rate of the embryo could be used. Conclusions It could be stated that disease, especially research about the virus is one of the main determinants that could affect the growth of the embryo of broiler chicken.
Islam regulates economic life for the benefit of all. Waqf can be a solution in creating mutual benefit in society. This study aims to analyze the comparison between the practice of waqf for both Muslims and non-Muslims. This study uses qualitative methods. Samples in this study are the Islamic Hospital of endowments and the Gates Foundation. Data were analyzed using descriptive-analytical methods. The results show that the Gates Foundation and UNISMA use funds from their business management to distribute to the public. If UNISMA distributes waqf funds for business development and to achieve goodness, the gates foundation is entirely donated to the public. The difference in the company's financial scale is this division.
The city of Bandung has great potential for halal tourism. In addition to the carrying capacity of natural and human resources, Bandung has been designated by the Indonesian. However, policy makers still have not carried out special branding for halal tourism for the city of Bandung. This study has a purpose to observe the importance of branding for halal tourism in Bandung. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data were collected through questionnaires and literature study. The result showed that the majority of Muslims from various countries consider halal tourism branding important and influence their choice of the city they will visit.
Vaccine is the best way to tackle the virus outbreak, because vaccines could reprogram immunity systems to create their own antibodies. Muslims are obliged to consume only halal product. Vaccine needed to follow halal standardization to be used in Islamic countries. This study has a purpose to observe the connection between halal and vaccine in research papers indexed by Scopus website. This study uses papers indexed in Scopus website as secondary data. There are two kinds of data, based on the organization of co-authorship, and co-occurrence of authors’ topic. There are 46 numbers of data the organization of co-authorship and 68 of co-occurrence of authors’ topic. The data is analyzed using Vosviewer software. The result shows that topic of vaccine has connection to halal and fatwa/ or ulama council’s statement. Thus, non muslim countries such as USA and Australia have more relevance points than Muslim countries. Based on the keywords, there are topic about vaccine and COVID-19. In can be concluded that halal and vaccine is intertwined each other, especially in muslim countries.
Deforestation is a serious environmental problem in the OIC countries. From 1990 to 2016 based on 2019 OIC Environment Report data, compared to other groups outside the OIC, the OIC deforestation rate reached >10% on average, which was much higher. The focus of this study examines the effect of economic growth, agricultural land, and trade openness moderated by population density on deforestation. This study uses a quantitative approach and a Moderated Regression Analysis technique with a sample of 15 OIC countries from 2010-2019 taken from the purposive sampling method. The test results clarify that economic growth and agricultural land have a significant effect on the rate of deforestation, while the effect of trade openness is not significant on the rate of deforestation. From the results of the moderating variable, only agricultural land which has a significant effect on deforestation is moderated by population density. These results confirm Kuznets' environmental theory and environmental externality theory, and can be used as material for the government's evaluation to reduce deforestation rates and maintain forest sustainability according to SDG's No.15 agenda by considering demographic aspects such as population density. This study is limited to the 15 OIC countries that are the research sample due to their high forest fluctuations. s evaluation to reduce deforestation rates and maintain forest sustainability according to SDG's No.15 agenda by considering demographic aspects such as population density.
