We derive parametrized equations using variational calculation for energy levels and the spatial extension of Wannier excitons in two-dimensional quantum wells with an arbitrary shape of the confining potential. The formulation is performed in the framework of the effective mass approximation, two-band model and taking into account both mass mismatch and dielectric mismatch. According to the new formulation, qualitative and general features of excitons are deduced. Illustrations are given for GaAlAs-GaAs-GaAlAs and CdMnTe-CdTe-CdMnTe systems for both rectangular and parabolic quantum wells as well as for the 2s exciton state. The comparison with existing data displays good agreement. An application of the model is given for an exciton in a parabolic quantum well under a constant electric field.
Abstract. Parameterized equations have been derived using variational calculation for energy levels of Wannier excitons in 2D-parabolic quantum wells in uniform electric and magnetic fields. The formulation has been performed in the framework of the effective mass approximation and two-band model. Illustrations have been given for GaAlAsGaAs-GaAlAs and CdMnTe-CdTe-CdMnTe parabolic quantum wells. The comparison with existing data displays good agreement. Keywords: parabolic quantum well, exciton, binding energy.Manuscript received 27.10.11; revised manuscript received 16.12.11; accepted for publication 26.01.12; published online 29.02.12.
This paper is an application of a variation of American Customer Satisfaction index model in the context of Moroccan banking sector. We specifically chose mobile banking and added a variable that is the service recommendation factor, the results of our work have proved that the hypotheses proposed by our model are validated except the relationship between the perceived quality and customer satisfaction and which can be explained by the indirect relationship through the perceived value.

Using the variational method in real space and the effective-mass theory, we present quite an advanced semi-analytic approach susceptible for calculating the binding energy E B of Wannier excitons in semiconductor quantum dot structures with rectangular and parabolic shapes of the confining potential in the so-called strong-confinement regime. Illustration is given for CdS, ZnSe, CdSe, GaAs structures of crystallites for both rectangular and parabolic quantum dots, and it displays a very good agreement between the experimental and theoretical results reported in literature.

The role of entrepreneurship in economic development is significant, which is why business schools and universities are prioritizing entrepreneurship education. This research aims to determine the impact of these programs on individuals' intent to become entrepreneurs using Ajzen's theory of planning behavior. The survey method was used to gather data from 403 participants and SEM path analysis was employed to analyze the results. The findings suggest that feedback and business plan activities have a direct effect on entrepreneurial intention. This information can be utilized to improve entrepreneurship training courses and support their providers. Furthermore, the relationship between entrepreneurship and business planning can be leveraged by educational institutions, organizations, and policymakers to foster future entrepreneurs.

JEL: M13, M53

Article visualizations:

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
