In this survey, there are 14 species belonging to 14 genera, nine families and two orders, collected on Macrofungi from Tikrit city, Salahadin Governorate, North Central of Iraq. The members of Coleoptera were more abundant than flies on Macrofungi. The family of Ciidae and Leiodidae (Order, Coleoptera), Mycetophilidae (Order, Diptera), and 6 species are recorded for the first time for insect fauna of Iraq.
A b s t r a c t A r t i c l e I n f oBetween the years 2016 -2017, a survey on macrofungi was carried out in Al -Alam and Tikrit provinces from Tikrit district in Salahadin governorate / north central Iraq. It has been found that the two provinces comprise high diversity of macrofungi. In this paper 7 basidiomycetous macrofungal species belonging to 7 genera, 6 families and 3 orders were identified. These species are Coprinellus disseminatus, Ganoderma lucidum, Lichenomphalia umbellifera, Montagnea arenaria, Phellinus pomaceus, Podaxis pistillaris and Trametes trogii. All these fungi are described for the first time from Salahadin Governorate. Out of the seven species, G. lucidum, L. umbellifera, M. arenaria and P. pomaceus are new addition for the macromycota of Iraq. C. disseminatus and L. umbellifera are reported rare in the study area.
The results of the inference detection of alcohol extractor for 8 plants from Brassicaceae family which were:(Cardaria draba, Erucaria cakiloidea, Euclium bonmelleria, Hirschfeldia incanna, Leptaleum filifolium, Neotorularia troulosa, Rapistrum rugosum, Sisymbrium irio) showed presence of several chemical compounds, including alkaloids, and all species were positive except E. bonmelleria and R. rugosum that appeared negative at the time of meyer's detection. Phenols compounds, Tannins, Falvonoides, Glycosides, Saponin and Portions were also detected in all species under study, while the result was negative when testing Terpenes in all types under study . The results of the injection of alcohol extract for the 8 species showed 4 concentrations (25,50,75 and 100%) The efficiency of concentration 100% and its ability to inhibit the growth of C.albicans yeast was higher than the other concentrations
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
