The fight in the globalization field between Eastern business people and Western industrialists shows strength for both. This article examines the improvement of Islamic financial matters in light of the contemplations of Muhammad Baqir Ash-Sadr, Karl Marx, and Max Weber in the humanistic perspective by taking a gander at the standards of worldwide Islamic financial matters in helping out a few non-Muslim nations. This research method uses library research, namely, taking information from books and scientific articles relevant to the problem to be answered. The consequences of this study show that the reasoning of Marx and Weber about the Islamic monetary framework encountering a decay was gone against by Muhammad Baiqr Sadr. That's what sadr censures if Marxism denies things connected with a powerful way of thinking; without anyone else, Marxism has isolated itself from things not related to science. The standards of Islamic lessons as the principal reason for making progress in business are demonstrated to have the option to contend worldwide. Moderasi beragama Hindu direalisasikan sebagai bentuk kerukunan antar umat beragama. Ajaran agama Hindu berbasis kearifan lokal "menyama braya" dimanfaatkan sebagai modal dasar pembentuk kohesi sosial ditengah masyarakat beragama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat proses interaksi sosial sebagai pembentuk kohesi sosial dan mendeskripsikan cara mengimplementasikan moderasi beragama Hindu Bali berbasis kearifan lokal di Kampung Bali Kabupaten Langkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara mendalam kepada 5 informan terkait dengan implementasi moderasi beragama Hindu berbasis kearifan lokal dengan menggunakan analisis kajian teori sosiologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi moderasi beragama masyarakat Hindu Bali menggunakan konsep ajaran "menyama braya" sebagai pembentuk kohesi sosial ternyata mampu beradaptasi, mempertahankan ajaran agama, menjaga tradisi simbolis kebudayaan serta mampu menunjukkan sikap toleransi yang tinggi antar umat beragama diperantauan meskipun terjadi pergeseran nilai kebudayaan yang disebabkan oleh pembauran di arena sosialnya.
One's habit in language use is infl uenced by daily social life structures thereby creating diff erent interaction patt erns both individually or as a group. Sociology of language critically analyzes the use of language as a symbol of power which dominates the arena in a multicultural school. This research utilizes mixed methods as it is considered capable of fi nding and answering the issues and problems under examination. The location of research was Sultan Iskandar Muda High School which is the only multicultural education curriculum based pilot school in the city of Medan. The informants in this study were the principal, teachers, and students while the respondents were samples of high school students totaling 86 individuals. Research results show that one's power in language use is determined by one's interest in using language. School power and individual power has diff erent portions when positioning one's self during interactions. Although power is coercive in nature, the community must submit to rules of the school. The power of the school in determining language emphasizes values of nationalism, which is diff erent to individual or group power which adjusts the language to the situation at hand so that relations of language use has its own portion of interaction in the multicultural school. The status symbol of language is based on Pierre Bourdieu's idea which is focused on power. Language can be utilized as a means to dominate in the social arena. Bourdieu (in Jenkins, 2004: 237-238) states that language practice is directly positioned in social interaction, the entire theoretical framework is included in understanding discourse: "Language relations are always power relations (rapports de force) hence it is indescribable within the compass of linguistic analysis. Even the most unpretentious linguistic exchange is played into a complex network of historical power relations involving the speaker and supported by social authority and audience that acknowledges the said authority in various human levels".Language has a central role in power mechanism that is dominating, especially in concealing the true intent of a violent action element. The dominant class broadens and forces its habitus over the dominated class. Meaning, the dominant language has been set by those in power in determining the type of language used in the process of interaction to the dominated social class. As an example at the macro level, we take the analogy of the government (upper class) determining the national language of the Republic of Indonesia
The development of the ideology of radicalism in Muslim families has increasingly shown an increase which has led to acts of terrorism involving women. This case tends to increase in recent years. This is because the active role of militant women in carrying out acts of terrorism shows that it turns out that women also have the potential to have gender equality in carrying out radicalism movements in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the views of women in the Muslim family environment towards radicalism in North Sumatra and explore the role of women in the Muslim family environment in efforts to overcome radicalism in North Sumatra. This research method uses qualitative research with a contemporary sharia maqasid approach. This research was conducted in Medan City and Sibolga City with 8 informants. The research data analysis technique used the Snow Ball and FGD techniques. This paper reveals that the perpetrators of husband and wife in the terrorism case in Sibolga and Medan did not indicate that they were children of a family of terrorists or former terrorists. The power of women in their involvement in acts of terrorism is in the space of mastery of patriarchal culture, where men are in charge of instilling doctrine and determining practical actions, by positioning women as actors who execute at the forefront. The important role of the family, namely the father and mother, is related to the potential for the reproduction of violence through family institutions. Because, from radical fathers and mothers, children who have radical views develop. Perkembangan ideologi radikalisme di keluarga muslim semakin menunjukkan peningkatan yang menimbulkan aksi tindakan terorisme yang melibatkan kaum perempuan. Kasus ini cenderung meningkat di beberapa tahun terakhir. Sebab, peran aktif perempuan yang militan dalam melakukan tidakan terorisme menujukkan bahwa ternyata perempuan juga berpotensi memiliki kesetaraan gender dalam melakukan gerakan radikalisme di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pandangan perempuan di lingkungan keluarga muslim terhadap paham radikalisme di Sumatera Utara dan mengeksplorasi peran perempuan di lingkungan keluarga muslim dalam upaya penanggulangan radikalisme di Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan maqasid syariah kontemporer. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Medan dan Kota Sibolga dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 8 orang. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan teknik Snow Ball dan FGD. Tulisan ini mengungkapkan bahwa pelaku pasangan suami istri dalam kasus terorisme di kota Sibolga dan kota Medan ternyata tidak mengindikasikan mereka merupakan anak-anak dari keluarga teroris atau mantan teroris. Kuasa perempuan dalam keterlibatannya dalam aksi terorisme berada dalam ruang penguasaan kultur patriarkhi, dimana kaum laki-laki bertugas menanamkan doktrin dan menetukan aksi-aksi praktis, dengan memposisikan kaum perempuan sebagai actor yang mengeksekusi di garda terdepan. Peran penting keluarga yaitu ayah dan ibu, kaitannya dengan potensi reproduksi kekerasan melalui pranata keluarga. Sebab, dari ayah dan ibu yang radikal maka berkembanglah anak yang memiliki paham radikal.

Fokus buku ini membahas tentang pengaruh simbol status bahasa terhadap interaksi sosial di sebuah arena sosial yang memiliki sudut pandangnya masing-masing. Secara garis besar, perilaku masyarakat berbahasa memunculkan ide penulis dalam membuat gagasan yang mengaitkannya dengan teori dari beberapa ahli sosiologi yaitu Pierre Bourdieu dengan konsep “Field” dan “Habitus”. Konsep “habitus” dikemas di dalam kehidupan masyarakat ketika menggunakan bahasa yang dipengaruhi oleh struktur sosial dan menciptakan pola interaksi yang berbeda baik secara individu maupun kelompok khususnya pada arena sosial masyarakat multikultural di sekolah. Arena sekolah multikultural merupakan sebuah filosofi yang menginterpretasikan arena yang dianggap sebagai sebuah miniatur kehidupan masyarakat multikultural di Indonesia.
