The purpose of this study is to train students’ mathematical representation abilities using the android physics comics of momentum and impulses. This research is an experimental research. This research was conducted in the 2nd semester of April 2019. Performed in the semester II on April 2019. Using 2 classes, namely X MIA 3 as comic modelling class with 22 students and X MIA 1 as comic implementation class with 24 students. The data collection instrument was in the form of a mathematical representation ability test that was tested before and after learning. Data analysis used the n-gain test to find out the increase in students’ mathematical representation ability. The results of the n-gain analysis show that the comic modelling class is mostly in the medium category, while the implementation comic class is mostly in the high category. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that learning using the android physics comic’s application can improve the mathematical representation ability of students on the momentum and impulses.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
