Mortality and morbidity rates among critically ill septic patients having acute kidney injury (AKI) are very high, considering the total number of deaths after their admission. Inappropriate selection of the type of continuous renal replacement therapy and inadequate therapy become the immediate causes of these issues. Dialysis is a commonly used treatment intended to prolong the life of AKI patients. Dialysis membranes, which are the core of dialysis treatment, must be properly selected to ensure fair treatment to the patients. The accumulation of certain types of molecules must be dealt with using the right membrane. Whether it is low-flux, high-flux, or adsorptive type, the dialysis membrane should be chosen depending on the condition of the patients. The selection of dialysis membranes should also be based on their effect on the treatment outcomes and well-being. All these options are needed to serve the patients of different clinical settings. The use of dialysis membranes is not restricted to conventional haemodialysis, but rather they can be employed in haemoperfusion, haemofiltration, haemodiafiltration, or a combination of any two of them. This review focuses in-depth on different types of dialysis membranes, their characteristics, and approaches in addressing the issues encountered in patients having AKI with sepsis and/or multiorgan failure in intensive care units.
This study aims to determine the validity of Interactive Multimedia with 3D Visualization to Train the Spatial Visual Intelligence of Class X High School Students on MetallicBonding Materials. Validity is tested through quality of content and goals, instructional quality, and technical quality. Development is carried out using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations). This research is limited only in 3 stages, namely Analysis, Design, and Development. Interactive multimedia is said to be valid if the minimum achievement level scores in the range 61-80 with good qualifications based on the eligibility criteria and product revisions which are adaptations of Siti Muriati, 2013. Based on the analysis that has been done, it is found that interactive multimedia with 3D visualization developed is stated valid with an average percentage of content validation by material experts that is 96% and construct validation by material experts that is 91.82% are in the feasible category with a very good predicate. Thus, the results of this study indicate that interactive multimedia with 3D visualization on metal bonding material can be declared valid. Keywords-3D interactive multimedia, spatial visuals, metal bonds.
Abstact. This research is aimed at knowing the validity of learning media in reaction rate matter. The type of research method that is used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) but in this research is limited to Development step. The validation test was conducted by a chemistry lecturer from Unesa by filled the questionnare. The validity of learning media can be scored from construct validity and content validity. Based on the validation result, the construct validity score average is 4.39 which is categorized into very good. The content validity score average is 4.14 which is categorized into good. Based on the validation result, it can be concluded that the learning media was declared to be used as the reaction rate of learning media. Keywords: Learning Media, The Validity, Reaction Rate
Hand sanitizer is a liquid or gel that has antibacterial properties to inhibit and kill bacteria. Thus, hand sanitizer is more effective in eradicating germs. Based on research from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), alcohol-based hand sanitizers that contain at least 60% alcohol can function as both antibacterial and antivirus. Hand sanitizer was once a scarce item at the height of the pandemic in 2020, due to massive purchases from the Indonesian people. The scarcity of hand sanitizers in some shops and pharmacies makes the price expensive. This Community Service activity aims to increase knowledge of the importance of health and the possibility of spreading germs, especially viruses and bacteria, and efforts to anticipate them. Another aim is to improve community skills in making hand sanitizers. This series of activities were held in Cangkir Village, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency in November-December 2021 via offline by implementing health protocols with PKK women and PKK Cadres as participants. This activity is carried out through mentoring and demonstration methods with presentations and hands-on practice. This activity has a positive impact on the Cangkir Village community in dealing with the current Covid-19 Pandemic.
