Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar melalui Project Based Learning (PjBL) berorientasi eXe-Learning dan Direct Instruction berorientasi Macromedia Flash pada tingkat motivasi tinggi dan rendah pada materi laju reaksi di Universitas. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi merupakan seluruh mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Kimia yang mengikuti perkuliahan mata kuliah Kimia Dasar, berjumlah sekitar 204. Teknik sampling menggunakan Purposive Sampling sehingga didapat sampel berjumlah 60 mahasiswa, yaitu 2 kelas yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 30 mahasiswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa tes soal objektif yang berjumlah 25 butir soal dan angket motivasi yang sudah valid dan reliebel. Penelitian ini menggunakan Analis varian (ANAVA) dua Jalur dengan GLM Univariate pada data N-gain dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar melalui model PjBL berorientasi eXe-Learning dan Direct Instruction berorientasi Macromedia Flash pada tingkat motivasi tinggi dan rendah. Pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen menggunakan model PjBL berorientasi eXe-Learning memperoleh hasil yang lebih baik dengan rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,73 sedangkan rata-rata N-gain kelas kontrol sebesar 0,63 sehingga didapat model PjBL berorientasi eXe-Learning lebih efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Laju Reaksi.
The level of quality of education within a country is a manifestation of the government towards the progress of its people. One indicator of the quality of education is the learning outcomes achieved by students. One of the factors that determine student learning outcomes is learning motivation. Motivated students tend to seek meaningful and meaningful academic activities for themselves, so that learning outcomes increase. This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation with student learning outcomes at Medan State University. This research applies experimental research through correlational design. The population in this study is all students of FMIPA semester 1 who follow the Basic Concept of Chemistry course in the academic year 2017/2018. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The sample of this research is regular class students of chemical education C and Mathematics education C. Instrument research in the form of objective test of learning result valid and reliable, motivation questionnaire. This study uses statistical analysis techniques using regression analysis. The findings of this study indicate that learning motivation significantly correlated with student learning outcomes, with r xy value = 0.712 and obtained coefficient of determination (r 2) of 0,507. The results recommend that the university administer the assisted learning program that can help students to motivate themselves in improving learning outcomes.
The pandemic from the corona virus outbreak has paralyzed learning activities. Face-to-face learning cannot be done so that online learning is applied. The purpose of this research is to see the effectiveness of the learning process that has been going on so far. The place of this research is the Chemistry Education Study Program, Malikussaleh University with approximately 86 respondents as a sample of students. This research is quantitative research with survey method. The results of this study indicate that online learning is quite effective with a score of 3.21 (quite satisfied) but it is still far from being said to be effective with problems on the internet and health that burden students and lecturers, so that in the future most students (53.96%) are still more choose to take courses offline.
The independent curriculum implemented at the elementary to higher education level currently hopes to produce a superior generation. Employability Skills and Scientific Literacy are two things must be possessed by superior human resources. In order to measure these two abilities, an appropriate instrument is needed, such as authentic self-assessment. This study aims to develop an authentic self-assessment to measure the Employability Skills and Scientific Literacy of high school students. This research is a development research using 4D design (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The instruments used were validity and response questionnaires filled in by expert lecturers and senior teachers at the school. The results of this study are: a) the authentic self-assessment instrument measures Employability Skills - the average is in the high category and the response is very good and b) the authentic self-assessment instrument measures students' scientific literacy - the average is in the high category and the response is very good.
Tujuan dari program PKM ini adalah untuk (1) Meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai metodologi dan statistika khusunya Classroom Action Research (CAR), (2) Meningkatkan penguasan TIK dalam penguasaan software statistika, sitasi, dan plagiasi (3) Meningkatkan kemampuan mendiagnosis pemahaman peserta didik secara berkala (4) Meningkatkan penyusunan publikasi penelitian guru. Pelatihan CAR ini dilaksanakan bagi 42 guru SMA di Kecamatan Nisam. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan secara tatap muka dengan memperhatikan protokol Kesehatan dengan rincian tahap Pelatihan Metodologi CAR, Pelatihan statistika dan pengolahan data dalam CAR, Pelatihan penyusunan asesmen diagnostik berkala dan Workshop artikel ilmiah dan software pendukung artikel. Selama pelaksanaan pelatihan CAR guru mengikuti dengan antusias, hal ini dapat terlihat dari keaktifan guru dalam berdiskusi saat sesi tanya jawab dan menceritakan pengalaman mereka dalam hasil dari pelatihan ini guru memahami konsep penyusunan CAR, pengolahan data dalam CAR, menyusun asesmen diagnostik dan penggunaan software dalam penyusunan artikel ilmiah menerapkan CAR dikelas. Berdasarkan hasil angket peserta pelatihan sebanyak 90,48% merasa sangat puas, 80,95% sangat tertarik, 95,24% merasa sangat termotivasi dan 85,71% merasa sangat mampu untuk mengembangkan diri setelah pelatihan ini.
