The use of technology has a positive and negative impact in the world of education. The positive impact, among others, is to make it easier for teachers to deliver material in a way that is no longer manual. By using technology, we can also provide a more concrete picture when conveying material about something. And another impact is that it can make it easier for us to process information, for example by using the internet. The negative impacts of using technology in education include, among others, the existence of technical disturbances that make the learning process disrupted. In this case, it turns out that the technology we use is no longer helpful. For example, if in the learning process that utilizes the LCD suddenly the power goes out, it will be difficult for us to convey the material that has been prepared (Susilana & Riyana, 2008). Another negative impact is, due to technological advances, individuals tend to be individualistic and less social in life. And sometimes some individuals often misuse technology, thus wasting their time with activities that are less useful.
Pesantren telah eksis ditengah masyarakat selama enam abad (mulai abad ke-15) dan sejak awal berdirinya, pesantren telah menawarkan pendidikan kepada mereka yang masih buta huruf. Disamping itu Pesantren juga pernah menjadi satu-satunya institusi pendidikan milik masyarakat pribumi yang memberikan kontribusi sangat besar dalam membentuk masyarakat melek huruf (literacy) dan melek budaya (cultural literacy). Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang berorientasi masa depan tentu memiliki tujuan, kurikulum, visi dan misi dalam usaha membentuk bangsa yang lebih beradab. Pesantren merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia yang semakin hari semakin pesat perkembangannya menyesuaikan pada perkembangan zaman masa kini, bahkan beberapa diantarnya mengalami transformasi model pendidikan didalamnya. Pesantren yang dimukimi oleh para santri sebagai peserta didiknya yang awalnya menggunakan metode salafi, kemudian hijrah menjadi metode kholafi atau sering disebut dengan pesantren modern. Pendidikan kedisiplinan merupakan elemen penting dalam mewujudkan generasi Islam yang unggul dalam prestasi juga ketaqwaan kepada Allah SWT. Pesantren modern menerapkan kedisiplinan pada seluruh santri agar kelak menajdi kebiasaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Artikel ini membahas model pendidikan kedisiplinan dan upaya pesantren dalam menegakkannya. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode survei. Data dianalisis dari bahan yang dikumpulkan berdasarkan penelitian lapangan dan kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa model pendidikan kedisiplinan di Pesantren Modern Ummul Quro Al-Islami yaitu dengan proses pembiasaan, pemberian nasehat dan teguran juga pemberian penghargaan dan hukuman
Pendidikan sebagai modal dasar pembangunan suatu bangsa serta merupakan proses untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pembangunan bangsa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui implementasi menajemen mutu terpadu Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) anshor cibungbulang kabupaten Bogor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif adalah penelitian yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian misalnya perilaku, persepsi, motivasi, tindakan, dan lain-lain. Hasil implementasi TQM adalah (a) terbangunnya komunikasi yang baik pada semua pihak (b) terbentuknya pembiasaan peribadahan yang baik pada warga sekolah, (c) terbentuknya akhlak mulia/karakter (d) terlaksananya ekosistem sekolah yang terbuka, (e) terlaksanannya training dan pembinaan guru dan karyawan, dan (f) terlaksananya activitas siswa berupa pengembangan diri yang berkualitas. Dampak implementasi TQM berbasis keunggulan lokal (pembinaan karakter dan penguatan ruhani) adalah meningkatnya: (a) kepercayaan masyarakat, (b) kuantitas dan kualitas input siswa, (c) kualitas output, dengan ketercapaian SKL dengan keseimbangan dalam prestasi akademik dan non akademik dan (d) dukungan stake holder.
The Islamic religious education learning that has been carried out at the University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang which has been taking place so far is a general course / personality development given to all students, so that students have personality and character values based on the Qur'an and Hadith and have religious insight that comprehensive / comprehensive. Religious Education in Higher Education aims to help foster students who believe and are devoted to God Almighty, have noble character, think philosophically, act rationally, have broad views, participate in developing and utilizing science and technology for the benefit of humans. This study aims to analyze the learning of Islamic religious education at the University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang. To see how PAI teachers learn in public universities. This research focuses on 3 problems, namely: 1) PAI learning content organizing strategies, 2) PAI learning delivery strategies, 3) PAI learning management strategies. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The data collection methods were interviews and documentation, which answered about learning Islamic religious education at the University of Buana Perjuangan Karawang. The informants in this study were PAI lecturers and students..The results of this study are 1) The strategy for organizing PAI learning content used is that the lecturer makes materials and syllabus then submitted to GKM at the Study Program level then GJM at the faculty level and then LP3M for approval. The organization of the material is made from doctrinal materials to materials that are broader and more detailed. In several other courses, books containing material that can be used as learning references are provided and each PAI lecturer is encouraged to make books or learning modules. 2) Online-based PAI learning delivery strategies, namely in the form of zoom meetings or google meetings. 3) PAI learning management strategy is setting lecturers to deliver 2 credits for 90 minutes using Lecture, Discussion, Presentation and Problem Solving techniques. Lecturers motivate student learning by conveying learning objectives in the midst of learning in class. Universities are required to have lecturers who are competent and have good performance. The role of the lecturer is crucial to the success of the Vision, Mission and Goals of the Higher Education. Universities expect their lecturers to have better performance, be more process oriented, more involved in leadership, and more capable in knowledge and competence so as to provide added value to the Higher Education which in the end the Higher Education has competitiveness with other universities. Richard S Wellins (2015:525) argues that engagement is when employees enjoy their work, are satisfied with their work conditions, contribute enthusiastically to meet team targets, organizational goals, and there is a sense of belonging to the company, and are committed to the organization. Gibson et al (2006: 113-117) stated that personality is a relatively stable set of characteristics, tendencies, and temperaments (of individuals) that have been formulated by inheritance and by social, cultural, and environmental factors. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between personality and engagement. Based on the results of the research by testing the hypothesis, it is known that the correlation coefficient between personality and engagement (ry1) is 0.995 with the category having a very high/very strong relationship. The probability value is 0.000 < 0.005, then Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient is significant. Thus, this study confirms that there is a significant relationship between personality and engagement. The diversity in engagement related to personality is reflected in the coefficient of determination of 0.990 or 99.0%, while the remaining 1.0% is influenced by other factors. The results of this study get the equation = -13.659 + 1.047 X1 can be used to predict engagement based on personality scores, it can be predicted that every 1 increase in personality score will increase engagement by 1.047 times at a constant -13,659.
