This study seeks to determine the impact of elearning in education on students' learning outcome. We employ a quasi-experimental design in this study. The subject of this study consisted of students of Sport Science Faculty at State University of Medan. The independent variables in this study are e-learning using an Edmodo platform that serves to provide elearning materials and conventional learning method. The dependent variable is the students' learning outcome. The data of learning outcomes were analyzed using t-test. The results indicate that the learning outcomes of control class scored 74.31 at 9.47 standard deviation. As for the experimental class, the average score of learning outcomes was 83.56 at 8.26 standard deviation. Significant differences exist between the learning outcomes of experimental and control classes at a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the experimental class scored 9.25 higher than the control class. From this, it can be stated that students who use e-learning scored higher than those who use conventional approaches to learning. This research conclude that e-learning can have an impact on student learning outcomes.
Heavy physical exercise causes increased production of free radicals. The accumulation of oxidative stress can reduce cardiorespiratory endurance. VO2max plays a role as an indicator of the circumstances of cardiorespiratory. An increase in cholesterol levels is a risk factor for coronary heart disease. As a result, there is a decrease in fitness marked by a decrease in the value of VO2max. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the antioxidant supplement given during heavy physical exercise had a beneficial effect on decrease cholesterol and the increase of VO2max levels. The subjects were 30 students, male sex, 20-22 years old, divided into 3 groups randomly, each 10 people, group 1: subjects not given heavy physical exercise and only given a placebo (control); group 2: subjects given heavy physical exercise and placebo (HPE-RDF); group 3: subjects given heavy physical exercise and red dragon fruit juice (HPE+RDF). Measurement of cholesterol and VO2max levels in the pre-test and post-test. The results showed that there was an increase in VO2max and a decrease in cholesterol (p<0.05) in the HPE + RDF group compared to the HPE-RDF group. The Heavy exercise group given red dragon fruit juice can increase VO2max and reduce cholesterol levels.
The purpose of this study was to produce a volleyball game service model in accordance with the characteristics of female of class VII. find out the validity of the book Learning to model variations of the game of volleyball service down, knowing the effectiveness of book learning to model variations of the game of volleyball servicing under the knowing response product receivable textbook by teachers and experts for the target model of learning the game of volleyball under services. This research was conducted in schools or teachers with total sample 75 students. The process of research and development model of the earliest known learning volleyball services below, includes ten steps, namely: Research and information collecting, Planning Development of the preliminary from of product, Preliminary field testing, Main product revision, Main field testing, operational product revision, operational field testing, final product revision, dissemination and implementation. Test model aims to find out whether the model developed is worthy or not used. Test model also saw the extent to which a product is made can achieve goals and objectives. models that meet two criteria, namely: (1) instructional criteria (instructional criteria); and (2) the representation criteria (presentation criteria). Tests performed three times, namely: (1) test experts; (2) a limited test of a small group as a user model; (3) field test for large groups (field testing).
The learning process consists of several supporting components: teaching materials, learning models, learning methods, and teaching styles. All of these components aim to help students understand and understand all teaching materials in each subject. For the SMA/MA level, passing down in volleyball is one of the materials that is considered quite difficult, as evidenced by the data obtained from the school. More than half of the participants failed in the subject of the volleyball game. What is found in the field is the most significant cause of failure, which is generally influenced by an unsupportive learning process. One of the most influential things is the teaching style. In this study, the teaching styles that are considered to be able to create situations/conditions that help the learning process are convergent teaching styles and inclusive teaching styles.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
