Changes are very fast and full of uncertainty, such as the current condition of COVID-19, which makes it very difficult for supply chain managers even though they already have a very good regularity. Changes in consumer preferences are very fast and even difficult to predict. The purpose of research and development was to identify the factors that influence the performance and competitiveness of the creative industry for innovation. It needed to be informed that the development strategy was not only providing information, availability of goods, money, and innovation, but there were pluses in terms of developing knowledge, knowing the strength map, implementing efficiency accompanied by value. Analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) was used in determining alternative strategies, while the analysis focus strategy used the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) method by considering the Total Attractiveness Scores obtained. For this reason, the potential and challenges in a series of processes (transformation activities and transaction activities) of a product must be carefully scrutinized, so that added value can be created at each stage. The results of the SWOT analysis resulted in five alternative strategies, which were then followed by a QSPM analysis to obtain the total attractiveness scores. The results of the analysis gave the highest total value on the importance of potential resource availability with a value of 15.862 followed by the second to fifth order, the need to understand rapid market changes (14.840), build partnerships (14.646), standardized and sustainable products (14.123) and develop efficiency principles for competitiveness (12.288), respectively. Recommendations are given that resource potential and rapid response to market demands in addition to the other three factors should be considered in the development strategy for innovation in creative industries.
Developing oil palm agroindustry in South Kalimantan involves internal and external factors for its sustainability. The long distance of each stakeholder requires a digitally connected system. The research aimed at identifying criteria, sub-criteria, and alternatives in the developed network model, determine the sensitivity to determine the relevance of actor's role, determine the effectiveness and efficiency before and after implementation of the system, and analyse the level of certainty and importance of assumptions developed. The methods used were surveys, focus group discussions, and questionnaires. Experts in the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method were from academia, business, society and government. Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method to analyse supply chain performance involved 178 respondents. The level of certainty and importance of assumptions was with Strategic Assumption Surfacing and Testing (SAST). The results of the analysis show there was an interdependence between the sub-criteria on the specified criteria and alternatives applied to achieve the goals. Pairwise comparisons showed the highest sub-criteria cluster was the replanting program with a weight of 0.662, for alternative cluster the highest priority weight in the system involving all actors playing a role was 0.391, with relevant sensitivity test results. The results of the analysis of effectiveness and efficiency before and after implementation of the system showed an increase in SCOR value for all actors. The results of SAST analysis were in Quadrant I with the highest level of importance and certainty of 7.6 meaning very important and certain. The implications of the research results can be seen in fostering the use of technology in realizing transparency, especially regarding the price, quality, and traceability of fresh fruit bunches, the realization of a monitoring system for policymakers and capital assistance for independent oil palm smallholders.
Air sebagai salah satu kebutuhan utama untuk menunjang kehidupan manusia memiliki resiko berupa adanya penyakit bawaan air (water borne disease). Seperti permasalahan di pondok pesantren Al Mursyidul Amin. Para santri mengalami keluhan penyakit kulit diantaranya kutu air, luka lecet hingga bernanah. Pemenuhan kebutuhan air bersih harus sesuai persyaratan kualitas air bersih yang distandarkan. Air gambut secara umum tidak memenuhi persyaratan. Air gambut adalah air permukaan yang banyak terdapat di daerah rawa maupun dataran rendah. Pengolahan air gambut menjadi air bersih yang umum dilakukan dengan metode flokulasi, koagulasi dan sedimentasi. Pondok pesantren Al Mursyidul Amin menggunakan air gambut untuk keperluan santri. Kondisi Air gambut yang diperoleh dari sumur dengan karakteristik air gambut yang berwarna kuning kecoklatan, keruh dan terdapat endapan dengan nilai TDS 2675, sedangkan pH air gambut diwilayah pondok pesantren ini tergolong netral 6,8 dan wilayah yang mendekati pantai sehingga tersusupi air payau yang terasa asin akibat intrusi air laut. Solusi yang ditawarkan pada kegiatan adalah 1) Pemasangan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Gambut, 2) Workshop tentang TPAG 3) Workshop tentang program hidup bersih sehat. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, praktik, kerja mandiri, kerjasama & pendampingan. Keberhasilan metode yang diterapkan diukur dengan menggunakan pendekatan proses & produk, melalui metode observasi & wawancara sebelum & setelah kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah telah terlaksananya kegiatan pengabdian dengan lancar seperti pembuatan dan pemasangan instalasi teknik pengolah air gambut, sosialisasi PHBS, pelatihan pembuatan sabun cair cuci tangan, penyuluhan teknik penjernih air dan pembuatan westapel otomatis.
Competitiveness enhancement of the dried three spot gourami producers in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province was undertaken, because they are the least beneficiaries of the business system that has been run for generations. The competitiveness was developed through improvement of the production technology, managerial, and business culture. Technology enhancement was achieved by improving the drying method, product diversification, quality improvement, packaging improvement, and labeling. Managerial aspects developed included management in finance, resources, and marketing. Cultural development was focused on social behavior, namely education on the importance of investment and financial management so that the revenue obtained can be used as business assets again. Those efforts have effectively improved the indicators of business competitiveness, namely increasing income, increasing product added value, increasing innovation and creativity, raising awareness of quality, increasing managerial ability, and improving attitudes and enthusiasm for continuous improvement
