A TANULMÁNY CÉLJA A kisvárosok fejlődési lehetőségei, versenyképessége, lakóhelyi vonzereje megerősödőben van, s ezáltal sajátos szerep adódik számukra a település-rendszerben (Cox-Longlands 2016.). E szerep ígéretes, sikeres formálását segítheti a slow alapú városfejlesztési filozófia és gyakorlat. (Osbaldiston 2013, Birkner és tsai 2017) A slow mozgalom leginkább a hagyományok jelentőségét, a minőséget, a környezetbarát mezőgazdasági termelést, illetve a helyi termékeket hangsúlyozza. Az alapelveikhez tartoznak továbbá az egészséges életmód, a helyi közösségek aktivitása, különösen a rájuk vonatkozó döntések meghozatalában. Célunk a slow filozófia, s az abba integráltan beépülő slow turizmus bemutatása és alkalmazása a települések jövőépítésében. ALKALMAZOTT MÓDSZERTAN A kisváros-marketing kutatási program keretében 2020 őszén primer kutatást végeztünk a magyar 5000 és 20000 fő lakost számláló kisvárosok körében. Kisvárosok vezetői kérdeztük, hogy miként definiálják, hogyan élik meg a kisvárosi létet, hogyan ítélik meg adottságaikat, szerepüket a településrendszerben, milyen problémákkal küzdenek. A téma aktualitását és fontosságát mutatja a magasnak tekinthető válaszadási arány. LEGFONTOSABB EREDMÉNYEK A kisvárosok körében készült primer vizsgálati eredményeink szerint a turizmus kiemelten jelenik meg a településfejlesztési tervekben. A kisvárosok slow turizmusa igazi értékeket teremthet (Desalvo-Calzatti 2017), egyrészt a sokféle motivációjú, sok célcsoportot kielégítő, jelentős turistaforgalmú, korábban túlturizmussal küzdő nagyvárosi desztinációk gyógyító alternatívája, másrészt a turistaforgalomból eddig kimaradó, annak perifériáin megjelenő területek számára fenntartható, turizmusépítő perspektívát jelent (Pécsek 2008). GYAKORLATI JAVASLATOKAT Számos példa mutatja, hogy a slow filozófia a helyi identitásra, elégedettségre épülő, a helyi erőforrásokat fenntartható módon mozgató településfejlesztési alternatíva. Tanulmányunkban három olyan kezdeményezést mutatunk be, ahol a slow filozófia sikeresen alkalmazásra került a településfejlesztésben. In this study, I deal with the two important pillars of the modern tourism experience, smart tourism and the related tourism digitalization and its smartphone presence, by processing international literature sources in the Web of Science database and related Hungarian publications. In adapting the general digitisation models, I highlight that both distribution and the entire tourism process have been digitised in recent years thanks to several technologies that have transformed tourist behaviour and tourism products. By defining the terms, I also point out the relationship between digitalisation and smart tourism. In the paper, I also discuss smartphones and smartphone apps and their marketing solutions in more detail. I synthesize the smartphone solutions and related literature sources, linking them to the tourism consumption process, in a model that can serve as a basis for future primary tourism research.
