The objective of this article is to give an account of the imaginaries and representations of families built by children and parents and their relationship with the socio-affective dimension. The study was based on a qualitative paradigm, emphasizing the case study research strategy. The observation and the semi-structured interview were used as information gathering techniques in the participants, who were 9 children and their respective parents or caregivers. It was obtained that the educational models influence the socio-affective development and the different behaviors of the children, and it was concluded that the children who are under authoritarian educational models, tend to be isolated from the social group of reference and those who are educated under democratic educational models are likely to be more autonomous and manage to socialize more easily.
Migration is a phenomenon that exists latent in the municipalities of Antioquia-Colombia, since the mid-twentieth century and until today, which has significantly affected educational processes and integral human development. The objective of this article is to analyze the relationship between migratory processes and education, based on theoretical visions and scientific studies related to the migratory phenomenon at the national and international level. The methodology was centered on the qualitative paradigm, based on a hermeneutical approach where a documentary study is privileged as a research strategy. The results show that the reasons for generating migration processes are related to the search for educational and work opportunities, as well as to imaginations of building a better future in the place of arrival. It is concluded that displacement and migration are interrelated phenomena, both occur due to the search for a better life, however, displacement refers to internal and involuntary exodus, while migration is more related to legal and illegal international movements.
