The need to implement a project in the Coffee Growing Region's Cultural Landscape has been identified. This would have a unifying effect and promote the inhabitants' greater participation by them recognising their own cultural heritage in order for the public to be able to effectively communicate through community workshops, the purpose of which is to structure an eco-efficient design model. The model proposed is the result of research made up of a collaborative system of work (concept maps, photographs and videos, short stories, and testimonies). It was experimentally implemented in the municipalities of Neira, Salamina, and Aguadas, in which, through community pedagogical workshops, information was collected that was validated by the inhabitants. The details of the model were then spread through an alternative communication channel, which promotes spaces for exchanges, participation, and reflection with respect to local cultural values, their potential, and their vulnerability.
