Nowadays, taking care the welfare of the employee is very important in order to ensure them to hard work in achieve the organizational goal. The aim of the study is to establish the effect of compensation and benefits towards employee performance. The objective of this research is firstly, to evaluate the level of employee performance. Secondly, this research aims to examine the relationship between compensation and benefits towards employee performance. Lastly, determine the effect of the compensation and benefits towards employee performance. This research carried out at XYZ College. This study used the survey research method where 100 questionnaire were distributes among lectures of XYZ College with population of 100 lectures which make the sample is 80 respondents. The data collected were analysed and interpreted using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Based on the result, it is found that the performance level of lecturers is at medium and high level. In addition, there is a positive correlation between compensation and employee performance. Moreover, the compensation and benefits also give a positive effect on employee performance.
From smartphones to shrewd refrigerators, innovation has assumed a huge job in progressing most regions of our regular daily existences, yet it is additionally changing the universe of industry. Industry 4.0 is the imprint given to the moderate mix of conventional assembling and modern practices with the non-yielding mechanical world around us. Industry 4.0 is certainly not another development, nor is it a business discipline, anyway another approach to manage to achieve results that were not possible ten years back gratitude to the headways in innovation. To do so, first thing first, it is essential to determine the challenges are faced, and roles are played among workers of Human Resources Management (HRM) towards industry 4.0 in manufacturing SMEs. The study is intended to identify workers of HRM perform the challenges and tasks by randomly select 100 respondents from 50 manufacturing SMEs listed on SME Corp. State Office Perak within Menglembu, Perak. The present study provides a contribution to the area of industry 4.0, among the manufacturing sector of SMEs. The findings of this study show that the adoption of sector 4.0 influences all of the challenges which are lack of skilled workforce training and aging society later retirement. Besides that, all of the roles should play by HRM that SMEs can gain when they start to embrace industry 4.0, which is useful for workers.
It is a fact that organization’s success and failure heavily depend on employees and employee engagement is found as one of the important indicators to engage work force in any organization. It has been repeatedly discussed by researchers in the past years and it was established that employee engagement is affected by variation in leadership styles. Many drivers regarding employee engagement have been identified, thus making the concept of employee engagement clear and more understandable for the employer. It also impacts employee performance and wellbeing as found by the past researchers. Leadership style also play a significant role in employee engagement. Leadership style is usually associated with the engagement of an employee and became the most important driver that may create culture of employee engagement in the organization. Leadership style also helps to drive optimal level of productivity in an organization and maintain employee trust. This study aims to identify the engagement level of employees in Malaysian Civil Defense Force and its relationship with leadership style. This research used Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) as a research instrument. SPSS software package for social sciences version 22 was used to analyze the data in this study. Finding of this study shows that leadership styles have a significant impact on employee engagement especially transformational leadership has a significant relationship with employee engagement. Therefore, from the findings of this study, it is suggested for the future researchers to use the mix method in collecting data so that the findings will be more accurate and detailed and can be generalized.
Nowadays, the demand of skilled workers in Malaysia has increased based on the increased automation and introduction to the latest technology for the Industrial Revolution 4.0. As a result, the organizations have to look into the ways to effectively engage their employees and utilize their full potential by enhancing positive transfer of training. However, review of literature revealed that so far, no study had been conducted between workplace spirituality towards transfer of training. The current study aims to investigate relationship between workplace spirituality and the transfer of training. To achieve the objectives of this study, a quantitative research design where the questionnaire will be used to address the problem. The study will use the whole population of the study from the employees involved in the "standard of procedure" training in one month at all X company branches in Malaysia to collect data using adapted questionnaire. Further, this data is statistically tested using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences for Windows Version (SPSS) version 25.0 for empirical investigations of the relationships between workplace spirituality and transfer of training. The expected findings of this study are the significant relationship between workplace spirituality dimensions and transfer of training. Results of the study imply that organizations should encourage employees to apply the importance of workplace spirituality in the employees so that they understand the concept of working properly in order to improve the organizational management function to encourage the betterment of the workforce.
