This research aims to analyze main production cost, added value, and income of tempe chips agroindustry. This research uses a case study method at three tempe chips agroindustries which are located in Metro City. Therefore, they are chosen purposively by considering the agroindustries are still active to produce. Respondents of this research are the owners of the tempe chips agroindustries. The field research was conducted in February until March 2019. The data collected in this research are primary and secondary data. Then, data analysis method uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that main production cost of tempe chips agroindustry is IDR32,874.39 per kilogram. Added values of tempe chips agroindustry show the positive values hence it is feasible to be developed. Tempe chips agroindustries are profitable because of the R/C values of more than 1.Key words: added value, agroindustry, cost, income, tempe chips
The purpose of this research is to help farmers to utilize E-commerce so the income will be increase. The method used in the research is descriptive method by reading from various existing journals. The results show the role of Market-false E-commerce in agricultural transactions is helpful, ranging from marketing products through media ssuch as websites, social media, and advertisements. The role of the E-commerce Marketplace in transactions greatly provides benefits such as facilitating transactions, knowing the availability of goods, and ease of accessing the site.
The purposes of this research are to analyze the income of each type of vegetable farming (chilli, tomato, chicory, cucumber and cabbage), the income based on the various cropping pattern of vegetables, the cropping pattern which gives the highest income. This research was conducted with a survey method in Sumberejo Subdistrict of Tanggamus Regency and the location was selected purposively. Respondents were 53 vegetable farmers taken using Stratified Random Sampling method and determined the allocation of the proportion of the sample according to the cropping pattern. The analytical method used was farm income analysis by Rahim and Hastuti (2008). The results showed that chilli, tomato, chicory, cucumber, and cabbage farming are profitable because of the values of R/C ratio > 1. The income of vegetable farming cropping pattern 1, 2, 3 in a row are Rp203,826,644.43; Rp221,730,908.34 and Rp253,833,536.82 so that the cropping pattern that most profitable for farmers is vegetable farming cropping pattern 3 (chili-tomatocabbage) with the value of R/C of 3.98.
This study is to compare the income and technical efficiency of cabbage farming grown in wet landand in rainfed land and to analyse factors influencing the efficiency. The survey was conducted inSumberejo subdistrict of Tanggamus Regency, the center of cabbage production, in January 2019.Respondents wererandomly taken 30farmers who grew cabbagein wet land and 31 who grewcabbage in rainfed land. Data are analyzed quantitatively using income, frontier, andmultipleregression analyses.The results showed that the income of cabbage farming grown in wet land andin rainfed landis different, but they both profitable. There is no difference in the technical efficiency. Factors that influence technical efficiency of cabbage farming grown in wet land and in rainfedland are farming cost (negatively) and farmers’ education level and experience (possitively). Theonly factor influencing technical efficiency of cabbage farming grown in rainfed land is land size.Key words: cabbage farming, income, technical efficiency
This research aimed to analyze procurement of raw materials, production perfomance, fixing cost of goods sold, application of marketing mix, and the sustainability of emping melinjo agroindustry. The location of this research was chosen purposively in Taktakan Subdistrict Serang City in which samples were all of three emping melinjo Agroindustries. The data of this research was primary and secondary data that was collected in March – April 2019. The methods of data analysis used in this research were descriptive, qualitative and quantitative analyses. The results of this research showed that procurement of melinjo raw materials had not appropriate with the six right criteria which were right on time, place, quality, quantity, type, and price. Production performance of emping melinjo agroindustry was quite good although the flexibility component had not been fulfilled yet. Fixing cost of goods sold of emping melinjo agroindustry had been profitable. Application of marketing mix had been implemented quite well although it needs to be improved in several aspects such as promotion. The sustainability of emping melinjo agroindustry in Taktakan Subdistrict Serang City has a good prospect. Key words: agroindustry, emping melinjo, perfomance, sustainability
