This research is motivated by the importance of political communication strategies for winning in regional head elections. The purpose of this study is to determine the political communication strategy in winning the regional head candidate pair. The theory used in this study is the theory of political communication strategy and the descriptions of other supporting theories about political communication strategies. The research method used is descriptive qualitative case study. The data used in this study include primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from interviews with seven informants from the Hendri-ita winning post. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained from journal literature, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis in this study followed the guidelines of the case study research design. The results of this study indicate that the political communication strategy of the regional head candidate pair is carried out by considering the characteristics of the communication components which are communicators, message content, media, communicants, and feedback. Afterwards, through the consideration of the communication. The communication strategy gave the regional head candidate pair victory in the 2020 Semarang regional head election.
Abstract-The future of regional newspapers in Indonesia are not good enough economically. Competition between regional papers themselves and the encouraging of communication technology are among problems that be faced by the papers. How do the papers solve the problem to support their economical life in the future? Based on a case of a biggest local paper that be published in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, namely Harian Suara Merdeka be found that publishing on line version, serving its community and changing editorial policy may be a way out to be solved their economic problems.
ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian dilakukan di industri ukir tembaga dan kuningan Zazen Art Galeri. Keberadaan industri ukir tembaga dan kuningan di Kelurahan Mliwis Cepogo memberikan potensi yang besar terutama di bidang ekonomi, sosial, pendidikan dan lapangan kerja.vPermasalahan produk ukir dengan desain rumit dan ukuran relative besar masih menjadi kendala dan perlu tambahan pengerjaanmeliputi pengerolan, pembentukan, pengelasan dan penyelesaian akhir.Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah modifikasi instalasi mesin pembangkit kalor untuk pengerjaan pemanasan, potong, menyambung dan membentuk lengkung pada pipa dan plat. Modifikasi pengelasan LPG dilakukan dengan merekayasa las asetilin dengan beberapa komponen yakni tabung oksigen dan katup pengaturan (regulator oksigen), tabung LPG dan katup pengaturan (regulator LPG), selangan distribusi gas (oksigen dan gas LPG), alat ukur tekanan dan injektor nyala las. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa las LPG dapat diterapkan untuk pemotongan dan penyambungan plat dengan ketebalan di bawah 0,6 mm. Selanjutnya tungku berbahan bakar arang dapat diaplikasikan untuk pemanasan plat tebal dengan ketebalan di atas 1 mm.
ABSTRACTThe existence of copper and brass carving industry in Mliwis Cepogo Sub-district gives great potential especially in economic, social, education and employment field. Carving brass and copper industries also provide support for nature and agro tourism in the slopes of Mount Merapi and Merbabu, especially the nature attractions of the Selo mountains. The challenge of carving products with complicated designs and large relative sizes is still a major problem and need extra processing namely rolling, forming, welding and finishing. Objectives to be achieved in the application of technology through Science and Technology Program for the Community is a modification of heat generation machine type for heating, cutting work, connecting and forming curves on pipes and plates. Themodification of LPG welding is carried out by modifying the acetylene welding by several components ie oxygen tube and regulatory valve (oxygen regulator), LPG tube and regulatory valve (LPG regulator), gas distribution (oxygen and LPG), pressure gauges and welding injectors. The test results show that LPG welding can be applied for cutting and plate connection with thickness below 0.6 mm. Next, charcoal-fired furnaces can be applied for heating thick plates with thickness above 1 mm.
Requirement engineering is an essential part of software development. The initial process in software development is to determine the needs of the stakeholders. To convert stakeholder needs into features of the system to be developed takes a long time, so it is a challenge for researchers to be able to extract features automatically based on the description of the needs of stakeholders. Previous research has also implemented feature extraction using user reviews on applications that public users have used. The feature extraction results will be used for feature development in future updated versions. The extraction process can use several proven methods to provide results that match the needs of the stakeholders in the system. This study compared the automatic feature extraction method using Natural Language Processing (NLP) with Hierarchical Pattern Recognition (HPR) on the dataset requirements and user reviews. Performance evaluation was conducted to test feature extraction results using Accuracy, precision, recall, and F-measure. The study results show that each method has advantages when implemented on both datasets. The NLP method excels in classifying the NL Requirement dataset. The HPR method has its advantages in extracting user review data.
