Debate between hadith scholar and Islamic jurisprudence has occurred since the time of the founding of fiqh madhhab that was dominated by Imam Abû Hanîfah in Kufah (as a representation of ra'y), and Imam Malik in Medina (as a representation of hadith scholar). Then the figure of Imam al-Shafi'i emerged as the mediator for them, he was given the title Nasir al-Sunnah. This study explains the existence of scholars of hadith -Shaikh Abd al-Fattâh Abû Ghuddah -who adhered to Ahl al-Ra'y madhhab of Imam Abû Hanîfah, defended the accusations against his madhhab, and also wanted to prove that Imam Abû Hanîfah was a textualist. This is a library research using content analysis. This study indicated that Imam Abû Hanîfah who was held by Abû Ghuddah as Ahl-al-ra'y madhhab did not make his madhhab understanding be rationalist in the field of hadith. He often in issuing fatwas based on ra'y. As a textualist cleric, he put nash in perseverance not prioritize qiyas and reason. AbstrakPerdebatan antara ahli hadis dan ahli fikih telah terjadi sejak masa berdirinya mazhab fikih yang didominasi oleh mazhab fikih Imam Abû Hanîfah di Kufah (sebagai representasi kelompok ahli ra'y), dan Imam Malik di Madinah sebagai representasi kelompok ahli hadis. Kemudian muncul sosok Imam al-Shafi'i sebagai penengah di antara keduanya dengan diberi julukan Nasir al-Sunnah. Kajian ini akan menjelaskan bagaimana keberadaan ulama ahli hadis -Shaikh Abd al-Fattâh Abû Ghuddah -yang berpegang pada mazhab Ahl al-Ra'y Imam Abû Hanîfah, membela tuduhan terhadap mazhabnya, dan juga ingin membuktikan bahwa Imam Abû Hanîfah adalah seorang tekstualis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka dengan menggunakan konten analisis. Kajian ini memperlihatkan bahwa Imam Abû Hanîfah yang dipegangi oleh Abû Ghuddah sebagai mazhab Ahl-al-ra'y, justru tidak menjadikan pemahaman bermazhabnya berpikir rasionalis di bidang hadis. Tidak selamanya Imam Abû Hanîfah dalam mengeluarkan fatwa berdasarkan ra'y. This article was inspired by the book of al-Rasul al-Mu'allim by ‘Abd al-Fattah Abu Ghuddah. He mentioned that there were about forty classifications of the Prophet's teaching methods as outlined in the form of hadith. The books are written are characterized by forms of educational values. However, in essence the method of education taught by the Prophet was also the way the Prophet conveyed his preaching to his companions. The time of the Prophet who had not yet known communication theories to convey God's messages, gave the results of the formation of strong characters in sahabat Nabi. So what is discussed in this article is about the method of Prophet's preaching in teaching sahabat Nabi the hadith perspective so as to form theories in da'wah communication and education. [Artikel ini terinspirasi dari kitab al-Rasul al-Mu’allim karya ‘Abd al-Fattah Abu Ghuddah. Ia menyebutkan bahwa ada sekitar empat puluh klasifikasi metode pengajaran Nabi yang dituangkan dalam bentuk hadis. Buku yang dituliskan banyak diwarnai dengan bentuk nilai-nilai pendidikan. Namun, pada hakikatnya metode pendidikan yang diajarkan Nabi juga merupakan cara Nabi menyampaikan dakwahnya kepada para sahabat. Di zaman Nabi yang belum dikenal teori-teori komunikasi untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan Tuhan, memberikan warna dan hasil pembentukan karakter kuat pada diri sahabat. Maka yang dibahas dalam artikel ini mengenai metode dakwah Nabi dalam mengajarkan kepada sahabat perspektif hadis sehingga membentuk teori dalam komunikasi dakwah dan pendidikan]. Pemahamannya melalui berbagai disiplin ilmu yang terdapat dalam ilmu tafsir. akan tetapi, saat tafsir dikaji oleh seseorang yang mempunya latar belakang keilmuan tertentu, agaknya nilai subyektifitas pada diri penafsir akan condong pada keilmuannya. Suatu yang berlebihan, dalam subyektifitas seorang mufassir dengan tingkat kecondongan pada aliran atau mazhab yang dipegang diselimuti oleh rasa fanatisme terhadap aliran atau mazhab, maka dapat mempengaruhi dan menyebabkan terjadinya beberapa penyimpangan dalam kajian tafsir.
The study of classical book tahqiq is attached to the figure of a hadith scholar named Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah. This is because the research he has done has studied and commented on the works of classical scholars, who showed their attention to the treasures of past scholarship. In commenting on the studies researched him, the hadiths, interpretations, moral fiqh and others do not show his inclination towards the school that he holds. The scholarly figure of Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah in the field of hadith who adheres to the Imam Abu Hanifah school of thought does not make it necessary to quote all his tahqiq works from scholars of the Imam Abu Hanifah school of thought.
