Os agrotóxicos são apontados como os principais poluentes ambientais e são relacionados a diversos efeitos prejudiciais à saúde humana, podendo provocar o desenvolvimento do câncer, sendo mais comuns os hematopoiéticos, hormônio-dependentes e gastroesofágicos. Este trabalho objetiva apontar os principais tipos de neoplasias malignas que acometeram a população no estado de Mato Grosso do Sul no período entre 2015 e 2019, relacionando-os com a exposição aos agrotóxicos utilizados na região. As informações sobre o número de casos de câncer que acometeram a população foram obtidas no banco de dados do TabWin – DATASUS e por meio de pesquisa em prontuários nos serviços de referência oncológica do estado, Santa Casa de Campo Grande e Hospital do Câncer Alfredo Abraão. Os resultados identificaram quatro principais tipos de câncer, sendo eles: de pele, mama, intestino e próstata, com estudos publicados sugerindo que esses tipos de câncer podem estar diretamente relacionados à exposição a agrotóxicos
