Resumo A AIDS é uma doença causada pelo vírus HIV e corresponde ao estágio mais avançado da infecção que ataca o sistema imunológico. É considerada uma pandemia. Não possui um perfil epidemiológico único. Devido à inexistência de uma política pública estruturada pelo Estado visando seu combate surgiram um grande número de ONGs voltadas para a doença no país. A política de enfrentamento ganhou força ao atingir diversos grupos sociais, quando a sociedade civil se mobilizou e garantiu sua priorização, a pressão política e financiamento estável, inclusive o incentivo internacional. Atualmente o Brasil apresenta uma das mais modernas políticas de enfrentamento à AIDS; é referência internacional.Abstract AIDS is a disease caused by HIV and corresponds to the most advanced stage of infection that attacks the immune system. It is considered a pandemic. Do not have a single epidemiological profile. Due to the lack of a structured public policy by the state seeking their struggle emerged a large number of NGOs focused on the disease in the country. The policy of confrontation has gained strength to reach various social groups, when civil society was mobilized and secured its prioritization, political pressure and stable financing, including the fostering international. Currently Brazil has one of the most modern policies to fight AIDS, is an international reference.
O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever e analisar se existe diferença na percepção sobre acesso ao sistema de atenção primária à saúde bucal entre homens e mulheres. Utilizou-se a abordagem qualitativa e a técnica grupos focais. Os participantes do estudo foram adultos residentes no território de uma unidade de saúde da família do Recife (USF). Foram realizados 2 grupos focais, o primeiro sendo composto por mulheres e o segundo por homens. As falas dos participantes foram gravadas, transcritas e avaliadas de acordo com a técnica de análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin (2001). Foram observadas diferenças de perspectivas entre homens e mulheres em relação ao conceito de acesso e sobre a organização de funcionamento da USF. Os homens conceituaram acesso como sendo a resolução do problema e enfatizaram a necessidade de outros horários de atendimento da Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS), já as mulheres, conceituaram como sendo acolhimento, agilidade de marcação da consulta e na organização, o problema de agendamento. Ambos os grupos identificaram que a utilização efetiva dos serviços odontológicos foi a maior dificuldade encontrada pelos usuários da atenção primária em saúde bucal. Os entrevistados destacaram a importância da organização popular para garantir o direito ao acesso aos serviços de saúde bucal.
ResumoTodo cidadão tem direito ao acesso com qualidade aos serviços de saúde bucal. Apesar de ser garantido legalmente, existem dificuldades. Há um conjunto de atores e fatores que deverão estar relacionados e harmonizados para que haja eficiência nos serviços oferecidos à população. O objetivo deste estudo foi fazer uma análise crítica sobre a realidade da rede de atenção à saúde bucal no município de Caruaru. Os resultados foram obtidos através de pesquisas publicadas e foi constatado que, apesar de ser o mais importante pólo econômico, médico-hospitalar, acadêmico, cultural e turístico do Agreste, não possui uma rede de assistência em saúde bucal ideal para garantir a saúde que a legislação vigente normatiza. AbstractEvery citizen has the right to access to quality oral health services. Despite being legally guaranteed, there are difficulties. There are a host of actors and factors that should be linked and harmonized so that there is efficiency in the services offered to the population. The objective of this study was to make a critical analysis of the reality of the network of oral health care in the municipality of Caruaru. The results were obtained from published research and it was found that, despite being the most important economic center, healthcare, academic, cultural and tourism in the Wasteland, it has a network of health care to ensure optimum oral health that legislation regulates.Descritores: SUS, Serviços de Saúde Bucal, Integração de Sistemas.
Aim: The aim of the study was to investigate perceived family cohesion and adaptability and its association with trauma, malocclusion and anthropometry in school adolescents. Methods: Cross-sectional study with a representative sample of 921 adolescents from 13 to 19 years old of both sexes, enrolled in state public schools of a northeastern Brazilian municipality. A questionnaire with sociodemographic questions, the FACES III scale was applied and a clinical oral examination (dental trauma and malocclusion) and anthropometric (BMI by age) were performed. For statistical analysis, was evaluated by the Chi-square test. The variables that presented significance in the bivariate analysis of up to 25% were taken to the multivariate analysis (multinomial logistic regression), variables that presented significance in bivariate analysis of up to 25% were taken to multivariate analysis and all conclusions were drawn considering the significance level of 5%. Results: As a result, it was identified that displaced families were associated with low maternal education, agglutinated families associated with the absence of caries. Rigid families were associated with marked overjet and caries. The prevalence of dental trauma (37.5%) was considered high. Conclusion: It was concluded that family cohesion and adaptability were associated with oral health and socioeconomic factors.
