El fenómeno del desplazamiento afecta a toda la población colombiana, especialmente a aquella que tiene mayor vulnerabilidad, como las mujeres, que ven afectada su salud por el cambio de roles que deben asumir. Objetivo: analizar cómo los roles que desempeñan las mujeres en situación de desplazamiento influyen en sus condiciones de vulnerabilidad psicológica y social. Materiales y métodos: se realizó una investigación cualitativa utilizando la teoría fundada; se tuvieron en cuenta fuentes primarias, constituidas por los discursos recogidos en entrevistas aplicadas personalmente a mujeres que hubieran sido desplazadas, residentes en tres asentamientos de la ciudad de Medellín y cuyas características se definieron por la diversidad cultural, étnica e idiosincrásica, y fuentes secundarias, compuestas por la revisión de documentos oficiales, literatura, otras investigaciones y demás material que tratara acerca de este tema. Se realizaron quince entrevistas semiestructuradas, se organizaron seis grupos focales y se realizaron seis entrevistas a profundidad. Para el análisis se utilizó la codificación, categorización e interpretación. Resultados: las mujeres desplazadas se ven sometidas a cambios significativos en sus roles luego de la llegada a la ciudad, los cuales agudizan sus condiciones de vulnerabilidad e influyen en su percepción de salud. La relación entre los múltiples roles y su efecto sobre las condiciones de vulnerabilidad no puede estudiarse analizando cada rol independientemente y sin considerar diferentes dimensiones de funcionamiento y adaptación de la mujer. Conclusión: la experiencia del desplazamiento afecta los roles asumidos por las mujeres, y estos a su vez las condiciones de vulnerabilidad y su percepción de salud.
Objetivo Analizar los conocimientos y las prácticas de estudiantes indígenas de una universidad de Medellín sobre las plantas sagradas y sustancias psicoactivas. Métodos Se utilizó un enfoque histórico-hermenéutico y la teoría fundamentada enraizada en el interaccionismo simbólico como base teórica; la codificación y categorización fueron las técnicas de análisis. Finalmente, se realizaron seis entrevistas semies-tructuradas y dos grupos focales. Resultados La población estudiantil diferencia los significados entre plantas sagradas y sustancias psicoactivas, de acuerdo con los contextos de la comunidad indígena y la occidental, respectivamente. Se identificó el papel que juegan el contexto, la interacción con pares y la identidad cultural para la construcción de tales significados y la validación de las prácticas. Conclusión La occidentalización en las tribus indígenas de Colombia por medio de militarismo, medios de comunicación e indígenas universitarios permeabilizados por la vida urbana, origina rupturas en la fortaleza de la identidad cultural. Así, se fragmentan las ideologías tradicionales de la comunidad y se deteriora el conocimiento ancestral sobre plantas sagradas comunicado de generación en generación.
Este artículo se propone presentar la comprensión que han hecho las mujeres ensituación de desplazamiento acerca del rol que ha desempeñado el Estado y suinfluencia en las condiciones de vida de la mujer desplazada. Se parte de un enfoque cualitativo, tomando para el análisis elementos de la teoría fundamentada de Strauss y Corbin. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 49 mujeres en situación de desplazamiento. Para el análisis se utilizó la codificación, categorización e interpretación y finalmente se llevó a cabo la teorización. El rol que desempeña el Estado colombiano influye desde la experiencia del desplazamiento hasta la percepción de salud/enfermedad y la búsqueda de soluciones en salud, ya que este ha dispuesto múltiples leyes para la protección de las mujeres desplazadas, pero pocas veces se han cumplido.
