Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat berupa pendampingan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kompetensi professional guru. Sasaran dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Cingambul. Pendampingan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan latihan yang disertai tanya jawab. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk menjelaskan konsep pengantar guru profesional dan sertifikasi guru serta teori media pembelajaran. Metode demonstrasi dipakai untuk menunjukkan suatu proses kerja yaitu tahap-tahap pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer, sedangkan metode latihan untuk mempraktikkan pembuatan media yang memenuhi persyaratan program sertifikasi guru. Sementara metode tanya jawab untuk memberi kesempatan para peserta berkonsultasi dalam mengatasi kendala dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh peserta dari kegiatan pelatihan ini antara lain dapat mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer sesuai mata diklat yang diampu.
Scientific attitude is an important element in learning Natural Sciences (IPA) which must be instilled early on. However, many studies reveal that students in elementary schools still have a low scientific attitude so it takes some effort to improve it. Efforts that can be done include implementing a learning model and media that are thought to facilitate students in developing their scientific attitude, one of which is the Guided Inquiry model with Sparkol Videoscribe learning media. This research has the aim of improving students' scientific attitudes by applying the Guided Inquiry model assisted by Sparkol Videoscribe in science learning. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental type of experimental research and the Nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all grade 5 students of elementary schools in Cigasong Sub-district, Majalengka with the sample being grade 5 students of SDN Cicenang 1, Majalengka of two classes. The results of the study illustrate that the scientific attitude of students who obtained the Guided Inquiry model assisted by Sparkol Videoscribe was better than students who obtained conventional learning. From these results, it can be concluded that the Guided Inquiry model assisted by Sparkol Videoscribe is effective in improving students' scientific attitudes.
Proses pembelajaran di sekolah khususnya pembelajaran biologi terlalu memacu otak siswa untuk melakukan penalaran verbal dan pemikiran logis berbagai macam konsep. Proses pembelajaran biologi hanya terpaku pada buku ajar saja, belum biasa memanfaatkan fasilitas pembelajaran berbasis ICT. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan multimedia adobe flash pembelajaran biologi melalui project based learning pada konsep ekosistem, mengetahui perbedaan kreativitas sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran biologi berbasis adobe flash melalui project based learning pada konsep ekosistem, mengetahui respon siswa terhadap multimedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Developmen (R&) dengan model Thiagarajan (4). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan pada uji coba skala luas adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One Pretest-posttest Group Design. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan produk multimedia adobe flash melalui project based learning pada konsep ekosistem yang telah valid dengan persentasi rata-rata validasi 83% kategori sangat valid, terdapat peningkatan kreativitas siswa setelah penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran, respon siswa terhadap penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran memberikan respon yang positif. The aim of this research were to improve students’ critical thinking and to know students’ responses in applying mobile learning RPG-based maker MV in Ecosystem learning. This research is experimental research by using quasi-experimental design with Randomized control-Group Pretest Posttest. The data was taken qualitatively by using observation results during students’ learning, students’ response questionnaire in experiencing mobile learning RPG based maker MV, and quantitative data of students’ critical thinking ability. The research findings showed (1) applying mobile learning RPG based maker MV had medium level, (2) Mobile learning RPG maker MV had improved students’ critical thinking, and (3) Students’ result after using this aplication of Ecosystem learning system in a good level or in the highest score.
