Domestic wastewater from non toilets is referred to as grey wastewater, domestic wastewater from bathing, washing and from the kitchen. Incubator Bisnis (INBIS) Permata Bunda is a forum for the application of entrepreneurial skills (apprenticeship) for people with disabilities residing in Kampung Aren, Bontang City, East Kalimantan. Grey wastewater treatment at INBIS Permata Bunda with a grease trap, filtration, sedimentation, anaerobic biofilter, aerobic biofilter, sedimentation and control. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of INBIS Domestic WWTP to reduce organic pollutant loads based on the quality standard parameters of domestic wastewater from the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No.P.68 of 2016 those are the parameters of pH, BOD, COD, TSS, fatty oil, ammonia, and total coliform. The domestic wastewater treatment process for grey wastewater has a reduced effectiveness ranging from 56.73% - 97.65% and has met the quality standards for the parameters, pH, BOD, COD, ammonia, fatty oil, and total coliform, but for TSS parameters and total coliform needs operational evaluation. Grey waterwater from the INBIS domestic wastewater treatment plant has the potential to become an alternative water source for watering plants (afforestation) if the processing results are in accordance with quality standards.
Objective: This study aims to determine oral health practices among under graduate dental students from Pravara Rural Dental college Loni. Methods: A self administered questionnaire was distributed among dental students randomly. The questionnaire was developed to assess the self reported perception of oral hygiene practices. Results:The response rate was 85%. 15% of the students did not answer the questionnaire completely so were not included in the study. (n=252) 67.46% students reported brushing twice daily while only 5.55% were brushing thrice daily, 26.98% of them were brushing once in a day. 96.03% the students reported using toothpaste, 79.75% of them were using fluoridated toothpaste this indicates that many of them were well aware of fact that fluorides have significant role in dental caries and show potential therapeutic, adjunctive and preventive use in the treatment of periodontal diseases. 73.41% of students reported rinsing their mouth with water, only 23.80% were using mouthwashes. All of them were using one or more oral cleaning aids i.e. dental floss, interdental brush and tongue cleaner.seventy nine percent students were reported using tongue cleaners. Conclusion:The results indicate that more emphasis should be given on Oral health care of Undergraduate dental students and further research is needed to examine oral cavity clinically and objectively by standard procedures available.Students should be motivated to keep their mouth free of dental diseases by practicing proper oral hygine aids and guidelines.
Bioconversion of municipal organic waste using Black Soldier Fly larvae provides potential benefits. Apart from reducing municipal solid waste, BSF larvae (maggot) offer valuable added value as animal feed. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential of BSF larvae in the bioconversion process of municipal organic waste, to analyze the quality of the compost produced and to analyze the nutrition content of BSF larvae (maggot). BSF eggs in hatching are covered with gauze which are given organic waste feed, then after hatching they become BSF larvae transferred to enlargement media. BSF larvae are fed leftovers that enter the TPST, so that the enlargement medium is wet. Feeding leftovers from TPST is done every day. The rearing time for BSF larvae is for one life cycle. Maggot harvesting is carried out at the age of the larva about 2-3 weeks. The final products of organic waste bioconversion are BSF larvae (maggot), compost and POC. It was found that the BSF larvae (maggot) could reduce organic waste (municipal organic waste) by 47.75%. Where the ability of BSF larvae (maggot) to consume municipal organic waste is 26,1508 g waste / g maggot. The protein, crude fat and ash content in maggots which were given organic waste were 41.8%, 14.63% 9.12%, respectively.
This study aims to examine the effect of budgetary participation on managerial performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Palu, the influence of participation in budgeting on managerial performance with Locus of Control as a moderating variable and the influence of participation in budgeting on managerial performance with job relevant information as a moderating variable. This research was conducted using a survey method with a questionnaire as a tool to obtain data. Samples were taken by saturated sampling method. The analytical tool used in processing the data is PLS with the help of WarpPLS software. The results show that budgetary participation has an effect on managerial performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Palu. Moreover, Locus of Control can moderate or strengthen the relationship between budgetary participation and managerial performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Palu. Meanwhile, job relevant information can moderate or strengthen the relationship between budgetary participation and managerial performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Palu.
