Rekruitmen karang merupakan bagian penting dalam proses pemulihan terumbu karang di perairan. Tingkat rekruitmen karang diketahui sebagai salah satu mekanisme kunci yang memungkinkan terumbu karang melakukan pemulihan setelah terjadinya gangguan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelimpahan rekruitmen karang. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2017 pada 4 (empat) titik stasiun penelitian. Pengambilan data rekruitmen karang dilakukan dengan metode transek kuadrat 1x1 m sebanyak 5 (lima) kali ulangan mengunakan alat bantu SCUBA. Terumbu karang yang diamati adalah karang muda yang berukuran dengan panjang maksimal 5 cm atau disebut karang muda. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata kelimpahan rekruitmen karang di lokasi penelitian secara umum sebesar 2,1 koloni/m². Kelimpahan terendah adalah 0,35 koloni/m² terdapat pada stasiun I dan tertinggi adalah 2,6 koloni/m² terdapat pada stasiun IV. Adanya perbedaan kelimpahan tersebut dikarenakan karakteristik habitat dan substrat dasar perairan pada tiap lokasi penelitian yang berbeda. Rekruitmen karang paling banyak dijumpai pada substrat rubble atau pecahan karang mati, tipe substrat ini terdapat pada stasiun II dan stasiun IV. Pecahan karang mati menjadi habitat paling cocok untuk pertumbuhan koloni baru, karena menyediakan biofilm dan perlindungan dari predator serta kondisi yang ekstrem.Kata kunci : Karang Muda, Pulau Hari, Rekruitmen.
