This research aims to describe (1) the management of a nature-based learning; (2) the integration of religious culture on the learning process; (3) the educational values contained in the learning process based on religious culture; and (4) the preservation of wood fossil museum as a learning resource. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study design. The research results shown: (1) the learning management applied in the school is a natural-based scientific learning approach that utilizes nature as space, media and learning object; (2) The integration of religious culture values in learning is held from the start to the end of learning activities; (3) the educative values embodied in nature-based learning include the values of: religious, creativity, patriotic, reading fondness and environmental concern; (4) wood fossil museum is used as learning resource for students, society and as research object.
This study aims to determine how the effectiveness of the management of library office area at Bone Bolango regency. The method used in the implementation Keywords: Effectiveness; Oraganization; Managemen; Library Area AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektivitas pengelolaan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Bone Bolango.Metode yang digunakan pada pelaksanaan penelitian adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data mengunakan analisis injek dan diurakan secara deskriptif. Dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang yang di ambil dari seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1)tingkat efektivitas pelaksanaan perencanaan pengelolaan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Bone Bolango kategori cukup efektif, 2)Tingkat efektivitas pelaksanaan pengorganisasian pengelolaaan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Bone Bolango kategori cukup efektif; 3)Tingkat efektivitas pelaksanaan pengelolaan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Bone Bolango mengutamakan keberhasilan dan sasaran program kategori cukup efektif. 4)Monitoring dan evaluasi Pengelolaan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Bone Bolango ketegori efektif karena menurut hasil penelitian system yang diberlakukan sudah menunjang hanya saja fasilitas yang kurang.
Background: This article aims to (1) examine the current condition of education in the digitalization and disruption era and (2) examine medical education strategies in the digitalization and disruption era. Writing scientific papers is based on library research, whose object of study uses library data in the form of books as a data source.Content: Based on the literature review, it was found that: (1) global medical education currently uses the SPICES strategy (student-centered learning, problem-based, integrated, community-based, elective, and systematic), accompanied by nine educational trends; (2) SPICES is a medical education strategy that will produce graduate profiles that refer to World Health Organization (WHO) and World Organization of Family Doctor (WONCA) conference agreements. A doctor must have six-star doctor characteristics, namely: care provider, decision makers, communicators, community leaders, managers as well as creators and innovators; (2) the minimum standard of competence for doctors in Indonesia, constitute of seven areas of graduate competency namely; has noble professionalism, is always aware and develops himself, can communicate effectively, is reliable in managing information, always has a scientific basis in medical science, has clinical skills and can manage health problems well.Conclusion: A special strategy for medical education is required in the era of digitalization and disruption by applying a lifelong education approach. Indonesian medical education uses the SPICES strategy to create six-star doctors and master the seven defined competency areas.
Vocational High School principals have vital competencies in developing their infrastructure, teachers, and students to ensure the graduates have sufficient ability in entrepreneurship and provide products/services in a production unit. To achieve these aims and generate profit, the entrepreneurial instinct of the principal is essential. The purposes of this study were (1) mapping the entrepreneurial potential of school principals, (2) mapping school resource and area resource that can be developed as an income-generating, and (3) designing a model for developing the entrepreneurial competence of school principals to optimize the income-generating production/service units of public vocational high schools in Tomini Bay area. This study has conducted three stages to create an appropriate developing model for an income-generating production/service unit optimization, namely, planning, implementation, and monitoring-evaluation. The result was that the entrepreneurial potential of vocational high school principals in Tomini Gulf area is in good category. This indicates that the principals demonstrated good entrepreneurial competencies in terms of creativity, innovation, motivation, diligence, and finding solutions. This research is aimed at developing character education management model to empower ethos transformation based multiple-intelligence of junior high school students that covers: Guidelines on its basic concepts, program, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of character education model. The research applies the model developed by Borg and Gall (2003) that covers these five steps: (1) analyze the book model products of education character management that will be developed, (2) develop initial products, (3) apply expert validation and revise, (4) conduct a small scale field trial and revise the products, and (5) apply a large scale field trial and finalize the products. These are the results of the first year research: (1) developed Book I Draft on Basic Concepts of Multiple-Intelligence based Education Management; (2) developed Book II Draft on Multiple-Intelligence based Character Education Program Model; (3) developed Book III Draft on Implementation Guidelines on Multiple-Intelligence based Character Education; and (4) developed Book IV on Monitoring and Evaluation Guidelines on Multiple-Intelligence based Character Education Management.
