In addition to the superconducting phase with Tc=1.3 K (β‐L phase) exists in di‐bis(ethylenedithiolo) tetrathiafulvalene triiodide, β‐(ET)2I3, another superconducting phase with Tc=7 to 8 K (β‐H phase). This new phase occurs when hydrostatic pressure is applied. It is a metastable phase. The T‐p phase diagram of β‐(ET)2I3 is given. The dependence of Hc2(T) on temperature for the β‐H phase has a positive curvature. This fact gives the possibility to assume that the β‐H phase is a strong coupling superconductor.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
