Nous basant sur les données de la littérature, nous avons déterminé la position des équilibres de dissociation des hydracides halogénés gazeux et calculé les vitesses avec lesquelles ces équilibres s'établissent à des températures différentes et avec des excès différents d'hydrogène dans le mélange gazeux. Ces calculs ont été effectués dans le but de découvrir les conditions dans lesquelles il est possible de déterminer quantitativement les halogènes, dans les composés organiques, par hydrogénation. Enfin, nous donnons, pour le dosage des halogènes dans les composés organiques, une méthode dans laquelle l'hydrogène est utilisé seul pour l'hydrogénation et qui doit, par conséquent, être considérée comme une modification de la méthode de Ter Meulen et Heslinga
