Objectives: The purpose of this study is to explore how osteopathy treatments influence certain measurable aspects of the human biofield; namely, various calculated parameters of finger corona discharge patterns produced by high-voltage electrophotography. Methods: The Gas Discharge Visualization camera was used to assess subjects before and after osteopathy treatment. Thirty-three (33) apparently healthy adults (20-56 years old) took part in the study. The patterns of light emitted from the subjects' fingertips were digitally recorded and computer analyzed. Parameters including normalized area, brightness, and right-and left-hand integrals were calculated and statistically compared. Results: Most of the recipients of these osteopathic treatments experienced increase in fingertip florescence area and average intensity, reduction in stress levels, and improved blood pressure measurements. With all of these parameters simultaneously improving, the patients received a good benefit from these sessions. Conclusions: Virtually all subjects were in a good mood after treatment. Many of them had pain and muscle tension that disappeared. These changes were reflected in all parameters analyzed, in both psychosomatic and somatic states. Thus, osteopathic manipulations as administered in these two studies provide good, lasting relaxation. This study also provides the interesting observation that daily relaxation practices done by Dr. Paoletti enable him to work hard without additional stress.
Abstract. Purpose: to scientifically substantiate the role of para-vertebral impacts on blood circulation and bioelectrical activity of kick boxers' cortex. Material: in the research participated kick boxers (main group, n=62) and university students (control group, n=25) of 18-23 years' age. Assessment of para-vertebral impacts with device "Armos" and classic massage was fulfilled with the help of the following methodic: trans-cranial dopplerography of head main arteries and cortex EEG of the tested. Results: it was found that with the help of para-vertebral impacts by device "Armos" linear velocity of cerebral blood flow reduces to normal limits and in-and inter-hemispheres' interaction strength increases. Conclusions: para-vertebral impacts by device "Armos" activate integrative processes and inter-hemispheres' interactions of different cortex areas of kick boxers. It can witness about better formation of functional systems, ensuring sports efficiency.

Purpose : the comparative study of the immunity features of elite athletes of different sports. Material : study involved athletes of the highest mastery level of cyclic and acyclic sports (n = 147, age 18-23 years). Athletes were divided into groups by kinds of sport. Skiers (n = 54), swimmers (n = 23), wrestlers (n = 49), boxers (n = 21). Results : It was determined that athletes of acyclic sports (wrestlers and boxers) had a significant double increase in the level of secretory immunoglobulin IgA. In parallel, the level of immunoglobulins IgG is reduced. The highest indicators of lysosomal activity were recorded in skiers. Boxers, wrestlers, and swimmers had a decrease in the lysosomal activity level. The maximum phagocytic number is determined in wrestlers, and the minimum - in boxers. Conclusions : Comparative study of the immunity features of elite athletes in various sports suggests that there is a strain on the immune status. This condition is especially expressed in acyclic sports athletes (wrestling, boxing). This is due to the loads in the preparation process. The data received allow to confirm the significance of immune protection indicators in monitoring the athletes functional status.
