The objectives of this study were to evaluate dry matter (DM) yield and seed yield of six leafed and semi-leafless pea (Pisum sativum L.) genotypes, and to compare them for these traits. Evaluation of genotype × environment (G × E) interaction, stability and cluster analysis were also carried out at eight diverse locations with typical Mediterranean and Mediterranean-type climate during the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 growing seasons. Significant differences were found among the pea genotypes for DM and seed yield on individual years and combined over years, and in all locations. All interactions which related to G × E interaction showed significance (P>0.001) for DM and seed yield. The highest yield (4789 kg ha -1 ) was obtained from the leafed genotype 'Urunlu'. However, stability analysis indicated that for DM yield, the leafed genotypes 'Golyazi' and 'Urunlu' should be grown in low yielding and high yielding environments, respectively. Cluster analysis, based on grouping locations, showed that P101 was the preferred variety in low yielding environments, and P98, in high yielding ones. It was suggested that the use of both stability and cluster analyses might give better results. Comparison of cluster and stability analyses showed that the stability analysis fails to recommend cultivars to different regions where yield potential showed significant differences. It seems, however, that cluster analysis could be a powerful tool to examine G × E interaction. Edirne ili Keşan ilçesindeki çiftçi tarlasında yapılan çalışma, 2013-2015 yılları arasında 2 yıl süreyle yürütülmüştür. Tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı olarak kurulan araştırmada Töre yem bezelyesi çeşidi ile yörede kullanılan 3 farklı taban gübresi (18-46-0, 20-20-0 ve 8-21-0 organomineral gübre) kullanılmıştır. Morfolojik gözlemler (bitki boyu, dal sayısı ve yaprak/sap oranı) ve yeşil ot verimi yem bezelyesinin tam çiçeklenme döneminde ölçülmüş daha sonra kuru ot verimi, ham protein, ADF ve NDF oranları belirlenmiştir. En yüksek bitki boyu (135.3 cm), dal sayısı (6 adet), yaprak/sap oranı (0.92), yeşil ot verimi (5214.7 kg/da), kuru ot verimi (1112.5 kg/da), NDF (% 42.7) ve ham protein oranı (%18.4) ile en düşük ADF (% 31.3) oranı organomineral taban gübresi (8-21-0) uygulamasında tespit edilmiştir. iki yıl süre ile tesadüf blokları deneme deseninde bölünmüş parseller deneme desenine göre genotipler ana parselleri, biçim zamanları alt parselleri oluşturacak şekilde üç tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Denemede materyal olarak Egebeyazı ve Sarıefe çeşitleri ile 47.1, 47.2 ve 56.3 nolu çeşit adayları materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada 3 farklı gelişme döneminde (çiçeklenme başlangıcı, %50 çiçeklenme dönemi, tam çiçeklenme) hasat edilen Macar fiğin (Vicia pannonica Crantz.) verim ve kalite yönünden en uygun hasat zamanının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın iki yıllık ortalama sonuçlarına göre, en yüksek yeşil ot verimi çiçeklenme başlangıcı döneminde (1836.00 kg/da), 47.2 nolu genotipte (1713.78 kg/da), biçim zamanı x genotip interaksiyonunda ise çiçeklenme başlangıcı döneminde 47.2 nolu genotipte (2234.00 kg/da) belirlenmiştir. En yüksek kuru ot verimi tam çiçeklenme döneminde (401.00 kg/da), 47.2 nolu genotipte (387.33 kg/da), biçim zamanı x genotip interaksiyonunda ise tam çiçeklenme döneminde Sarıefe çeşidinde (451.33 kg/da) belirlenmiştir. En yüksek ham protein oranı %18.85 ile çiçeklenme başlangıcı döneminde, %17.17 ile 47.1 nolu genotipte, biçim zamanı x genotip interaksiyonunda ise çiçeklenme başlangıcı döneminde 47.1 nolu genotipte (%19.98) saptanmıştır. En yüksek ADF ve ADL oranı %37.02 ve %6.49 ile tam çiçeklenme döneminde, %33.93 ve %5.71 ile Egebeyazı çeşidinde, biçim zamanı x genotip interaksiyonunda ise tam çiçeklenme döneminde Egebeyazı çeşidinde (%19.98 ve %7.08) saptanmıştır. En yüksek NDF oranı ise %47.20 ile tam çiçeklenme döneminde, %47.05 ile Sarıefe çeşidinde belirlenmiş, biçim zamanı x genotip interaksiyonu ise istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmamıştır. İki yıl süre ile yürütülen araştırmada; ilk yıl iyi gelişme gösteren Macar fiğinden %50 çiçeklenme döneminde en yüksek yeşil ot verimi alınmıştır. İkinci yıl yağışlı başlayan bahar ayının kurak sezonla devam etmesi nedeni ile en yüksek verim çiçeklenme başlangıcında (2178.67 kg/da) alınmış, onu izleyen her iki dönemde de verim düşüşü yaşanmıştır.

This research was conducted between the years 1999-2002 in the experimental area of the Field Crops Department of Tekirdağ Agricultural Faculty in Turkey. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with three replications. Four alfalfa cultivars were used. Variance components, variance coefficients and heritability values were determined for morphological characters, herbage yield, dry matter yield and seed yield. The maximum main stem height (78.69 cm), main stem diameter (4.85 mm), leaflet width (0.93 cm), seeds/pod (6.57), herbage yield (75.64 t ha -1 ), dry matter yield (20.06 t ha -1 ) and seed yield (0.49 t ha -1 ) were obtained from the cultivar Marina. The leaflet length ranged from 1.65 to 2.08 cm and the raceme length from 3.15 to 4.38 cm in the alfalfa cultivars. The highest 1000-seed weights (2.42-2.49 g) were found in cultivars Marina and Sitel. The heritability values of main stem height, main stem diameter, leaflet length and width, leaf/stem ratio, racemes/main stem, raceme length, seeds/pod, 1000-seed weight, herbage yield, dry matter yield and seed yield were calculated as 91.0%, 97.6%, 81.8%, 88.8%, 90.4%, 28.3%, 99.0%, 99.2%, 88.0%, 97.2%, 99.6% and 95.4%, respectively.
