Purpose. Development of a mathematical model of the interaction process of a solid particle driven by a highspeed head of a carrier medium with an inclined surface of a hydraulic classifier.Methodology. The theory of granular material single particles transfer by a two-phase heterogeneous flow in the boundary region between the inclined surface of the classification apparatus and the aqueous medium is applied. The interaction of a solid particle with an inclined surface under the influence of the speed head of an expanding carrier stream, as well as gravity, Archimedes, friction, and environmental resistance is considered.findings. A mathematical simulation of the interaction of solid particles with an inclined surface is performed under the influence of the speed head of the carrier medium. Three characteristic modes of particle motion are considered: the surface is horizontal, inclined downward, inclined upward. As a result of the development of the process model of interaction between the flowing part of the new technical level classifier, formed by dissimilar surfaces, with solid particles washed by a passing flow of the carrier medium, regularities in the influence of the slope angle of the classifier flowing part surface on the parameters of the solid particle equilibrium state are formulated. Analytical dependencies are obtained to determine the characteristic velocities of the carrier medium flow sufficient for the equilibrium of a solid particle. It has been established that the impact on a solid particle located on the classifier inclined surface with a carrier flow whose speed is proportional to the surface slope angle, the coefficient of sliding friction, the characteristic diameter, will allow it to keep its equilibrium.Originality. Analytical dependencies are obtained to determine the characteristic velocities of the carrier medium motion required for the equilibrium state of the particles deposited on the inclined surface of the classification apparatus.Practical value. Analytical dependencies are obtained to determine the medium flow velocity which carries solid particles from the inclination angle of the classification apparatus flowing part wall. The established dependencies make it possible to justify the rational angles of the surfaces slope that form the flowing part of the horizontal classifiers and other classification apparatus used for the gravitational processing of granular materials.
Purpose. Development of integrated technological solutions for utilization, accumulation and processing of wastes of the stoneprocessing industry with the production of marketable products with commercial value. Methodology. Technological solutions have been applied for separate utilization, transportation, storage and processing of granular waste of the stoneprocessing industry in accordance with their initial size. Findings. The technological rationality of separate delivery and warehousing to temporary warehouses in the form of storage pits no more than 2.5 m high (with site arrangement between them of largescale waste rubbish and medium and small stone cuttings) by spe cialized dump trucks equipped with grabbing petrol buckets and dumpshaped reinforced bodies is substantiated. The technology of the preparation of oversized raw materials for further grinding using crushing equipment on a mobile chassis is described, using hydraulic hammers as a hydraulic excavator attachment. The rationality of the application of the technology for the collection, transportation and drainage of primary sludge by means of specialized automobile chassisslurry trucks equipped with a mobile slurry container was sub stantiated. The peculiarities of twostage processing of primary sludge і considered with the provision of their drainage first in Mobile Slurry Containers, then on secondary drainage sites and final cleaning from finedispersed impurities and the receipt of the commercial product in the form of artificial sand by washing. As a result of experimental and industrial testing and testing of the technology of the mobile slurry container filling, the technological rationality of the use of mobile slurry containers is determined. Originality. For the first time, a technology of recycling and twostage sequential processing of primary sludges, which are manmade waste of stonemaking production with deriving a commercial product in the form of artificial sand, is developed. Practical value. Research and industrial testing of the technology of the mobile slurry container filling with sludge with the subsequent washing of the drained granular material has been performed. The performed research studies allowed quantifying the technological rationality of twostage processing of primary sludge using mobile slurry containers and gravity hydraulic classifiers.
Technological solutions for brown coal processing, thermal influence on it at temperature change, thermo vacuum drying are analysed and qualitative and quantitative characteristics of semi – coking products are studied. The parameters of crushing and thermo vacuum drying of brown coal, heat treatment and cascade separation (electrostatic and magnetic) are substantiated. Studies on the manufacture of a pilot batch of carbon fuel with high quality characteristics are performed. Cascade treatment of heat-treated brown coal on electric and magnetic separators allowed to obtain a concentrate with ash content from 17.72 to 22.8%, volatile yield ≤ 35%, higher heat of combustion from 7256.1 to 7523.6 kcal/kg. It is determined that favourable modes of preliminary heat treatment of brown coal samples are in the temperature range of 200-400°С. The established characteristics of the obtained solid fuel correspond to the gas group of thermal coal. The obtained technological solutions for the processing of brown coal can be the basis for the manufacture of an industrial line, taking into account the thermo vacuum installation for further implementation in enterprises using carbon fuel.
