Durch Oxidation von 1‐Thia‐4,7‐diazacyclononan und 3‐Thia‐1,5‐diaminopentan wurden der makrocyclische Ligand 1‐Thia‐4,7‐diazacyclononan‐S‐oxid (tasno) und der entsprechende offenkettige Ligand 3‐Thia‐1,5‐diaminopentan‐S‐oxid (daeso) dargestellt. Umsetzungen mit CuII‐, NiII‐, PdII‐ und PtII‐Salzen ergaben die Komplexe [Ni(daeso)2](PF6)2 (1), [Pd(daeso)2](PF6)2 (2), [Cu(daeso)2]Cl2 (3), [Cu(daeso)2](ClO4)2 (4), [Cu(tasno)2]Br· 2 H2O (5), [Ni(tasno)2](ClO4)2 (6), [Pd(tasno)2]Br· H2O (7) und [Pt(tasno)2]Br· H2O (8). Die Strukturen von 1 und 4–8 wurden röntgenographisch anhand von Einkristallen ermittelt. In 4 und 5 ist CuII verzerrt oktaedrisch trans‐N4O2 koordiniert, d. h. die Sulfoxidgruppen von tasno und daeso sind über die Sauerstoffatome gebunden. Dies ist auch in 1 und 6 der Fall, doch ist NiII in 1 cis‐N4O2, in 6 dagegen trans‐N4O2 koordiniert. In 7 besteht zusätzlich zur planaren PdN4‐Koordination eine schwache Wechselwirkung zwischen Metallzentrum und dem Schwefelatom der Sulfoxidgruppe. In 8 ist die Sulfoxidgruppe vom Metallzentrum weggeklappt. Die Metall‐Ligand‐Abstände sind in den Komplexen des makrocyclischen Liganden tasno kürzer als in den Komplexen des offenkettigen Liganden daeso.
Am Beispiel der Kohlenstoff-Vergasung mit Kohlendioxid werden verschiedene Anwendungsmoglichkeiten einer Kreislaufapparatur mit Differentialreaktor fur kinetische Messungen heterogener Gasreaktionen beschrieben. Durch einige einfache Abwandlungen der apparativen Anordnung kann die Versuchsfuhrung vielen Problemen angepaBt werden. lm geschlossenen Kreislauf wurde die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit uber einen weiten Konzentrationsbereich gemessen. Aktivitiitsiinderungen des Feststoffs mit fortschreitender Vergasung lieBen sich im halboffenen Kreislauf bei konstanten Partialdriicken sehr genau verfolgen. Der Angriff von Kohlenstoff durch Spuren von oxidierenden Verunreinigungen in einem lnertgas wurde in einem offenen Kreislauf untersucht.Zur kinetischen Messung heterogener Gasreaktionen werden meistens statische Apparaturen, Stromungsrohre oder Kreislaufsysteme benutzt, s. Abb. 1. Bei s t a t i s c h e r A n o r d n u n g werden die Reaktionskomponenten in einem auf der gewunschten Temperatur gehaltenen Gefa5 eingeschlossen und der Reaktionsablauf mit Hilfe eines geeigneten Analysengerates verfolgt. Bei der unter Volumenzunahme ablaufenden Boudouard-Reaktion CO, -I-C + 2 CO kann das im einfachsten Fall ein Manometer sein. Da die Messungen durch schwer zu ubersehende Diffusionsvorgange im Gasraum beeinflu5t werden konnen und auBerdem die Gaskonzentrationen sich ohne Regelungsmoglichkeit laufend andern, wird diese wenig variationsfahige Methode heute nur noch selten angewendet, zumindest nicht in der hier gezeigten, einfachen Form. (Auf eine kompliziertere Abwandlung wird weiter unten no& eingegangen).5 t r o m u n g s r o h r e haben sich als gut geeignet erwiesen, um z. B. die Aktivitat von Katalysatoren zu testen oder die Reaktionsfahigkeit von Koksen zu bestimmen'). Die Ermittlung formalkinetischer Gleichungen, insbesondere der Abhangigkeit der Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit von den Konzentrationen der einzelnen Reaktionskomponenten aus dem gemessenen Umsatzgrad ist jedoch haufig recht schwierig. Bei groOen Umsatzen (Integralreaktor) ist die Auswertung der MeBdaten kompliziert, wahrend bei kleinen Umsatzen (Differentialreaktor) die Genauigkeit der Me5daten oft nicht ausreicht, besonders wenn diese aus Gasanalysen ermittelt werden. Um etwa die Hemmung der Boudouard-Reaktion durch Kohlenmonoxid zu studieren, mu5te man mit CO,/CO-Gemischen bekannter Zusammensetzung arbeiten, erhielte dann aber die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit nur ungenau aus der Differenz zweier vergleichbar groDer Zahlen, namlich der CO-Konzentrationen im Zustrom und im Abgas. Diese Schwierigkeit kann bei rein katalytischen Reaktionen auch nicht dadurch umgangen werden, da5 man die zeitliche Ge-
