The effects due to the action of a 50 ns light pulse followed by a delayed 300 ns electric field pulse of high strength (1.5 to 3.5 MV/cm) are investigated in AgHal photographic emulsion microcrystals. Evidence is given that the latent-image amplification by field action results from avalanche multiplication of photogenerated carriers in AgHal. The limit of field efficiency is shown to be determined by rapid fog increase, due to field tunnelling of electrons from surface traps irrespective to light exposure. klCCJIeAOBaHb1 3@@eHTbI B AgHaI-MMKpOKpMCTaJIJIax @OTOrpa@WIeCKHX 3MYJIbCMfii, Oiiyc-JlOBJIeHHbIe AeBCTBHeM Ha HHX 50 nS MMllyJIbCa CBeTa M 3aIla3AblBaIoIlIerO OTHOCMTeJlbHO Her0 300 nS HMnyJIbCa 3JIeKTPM9eCKOrO IIOJIH BbICOKOfi HanpHECeHHOCTH (1,5 A 0 3,s m/ Cm). npeHCTaBJIeHbI AOKa3aTeJIbCTBa, 9 T O yC5iJIeHMe CKPbITOrO ~3 0 6 p a~~e~r n~ IIOA AefiCT-BHeM IIOJlH 06ycJIOBneHO JlaBMHHblM pa3MHOmeHHeM @OTOreHepHPOBaHHblX HOCMTWIefi B ByaJIM BCJIeHCTBHe TyHHeJlMpOBaHMH 3JIeHTpOIIOB IlOdIeM M 3 lTOBePXHOCTHbIX JIOBylIIeK be30THOCHTeJIbHO K 3aCBeTKe. PACS. 71.50 -Localized single-particle electronic states (exc. impurities). PACS. 71.555 -Localization in disordered structures. PACS. 76.60C -Chemical and Knight shifts.Abstract. -Using the supersymmetric formalism, we calculate the distribution function of the local density of states (LDOS) of the quasi-1D disordered system. The shape of the distribution function and the position of its maximum are determined by the ratio of the level broadening to the mean level spacing per localization length. The fluctuations of LDOS and eigenfunction amplitudes in quasi-1D case are shown to be much stronger than for strictly 1D systems. Experimentally, the obtained LDOS distribution may be observed by investigating the shape of a NMR line in a wire or a quasi-1D organic conductor.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
